On Tuesday, Shares of Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), lost -1.15% to $671.15.

Amazon.com, declared plans to open a fulfillment center in Fall River, Mass. This facility will bring more than 500 full-time jobs to the area. These jobs will be eligible for comprehensive benefits on day one that comprise health insurance, 401(k) with 50 percent match, bonuses, company stock awards and a network of support to assist ensure employees succeed.

“Our footprint in Massachusetts continues to grow. We presently employ hundreds of developers, engineers, and scientists. Now we will add hundreds of additional full-time associates in our first fulfillment center in the state,” said Mike Roth, Amazon’s vice president of North America operations. “Massachusetts is a great place to do business and we are excited to be creating more jobs.”

Amazon presently operates a sortation center in Stoughton and also has research and technology offices throughout the state.

Norton by Symantec, released its findings from the Norton Cyber security Insights Report, which sheds light on the truths of online crime and the personal effect it has on consumers.

The report found that globally 62 percent of consumers believe it’s more likely their credit card information will be stolen online contrast to only 38 percent who think it’s more likely they will lose credit card information from their wallets. Additionally, 47 percent stated they have been affected by cybercrime. In the U.S.:

  • Seven in 10 Americans believe using public Wi-Fi is riskier than using a public restroom
  • Just over half of consumers think that storing their credit card and banking information in the cloud is riskier than not wearing a seatbelt
  • More than half of parents believe online bullying is more likely than physical bullying at school
