Active Stocks Highlights: Platform Specialty Products Corp (NYSE:PAH), Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA), CME Group Inc (NASDAQ:CME)

Platform Specialty Products Corporation, declared that it intends to release its second quarter 2015 financial results before market opens on Thursday, August 13, 2015.

Platform will host a webcast/dial-in conference call to talk about its second quarter 2015 financial results at 8:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) on Thursday, August 13, 2015. Participants on the call will comprise Daniel H. Leever, Chief Executive Officer, Wayne M. Hewett, President, Frank J. Monteiro, Chief Financial Officer, and Benjamin Gliklich, Vice President, Corporate Development, Finance and Investor Relations.

Platform Specialty Products Corporation produces and sells specialty chemical products in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. The company’s Performance Materials segment manufactures and markets plating products that are used to plate holes; final finishes, which are used on printed circuit boards; circuit formation products to promote adhesion and form circuit patterns; oxides that are used in the fabrication of multilayer circuit boards; and pre-treatment and cleaning solutions.

At the end of Thursday’s trade, Shares of Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA), gained 1.35% to $266.68.

Finally, CME Group Inc (NASDAQ:CME), ended its last trade with 1.39% gain, and closed at $99.17.

CME Group, declared the opening of a new, state-of-the-art cocoa grading facility in Amsterdam.

Physically delivered, euro-denominated Cocoa futures were launched on CME Europe in March this year. Since launch it has traded more than 6,000 contracts and has over 1,000 contracts in open interest. This was complemented in June 2015 by the introduction of Cocoa options. Amsterdam was selected as one of three delivery ports for CME Group’s new Cocoa futures contracts. Futures markets in cocoa are essential to manage risks in the complex supply chain involved in chocolate and related manufacturing across Europe. For a futures contract to be an effective hedge for physical cocoa, the process of sampling and grading cocoa held in storage must be rigorous.
