Twitter, Inc. (NYSE:TWTR)

Jefferies & Co.’s Brian Pitz has begun coverage of t Twitter, Inc. (TWTR), this morning with a Buy rating, and a $65 price target, writing that the corporation is “a leader in the crowded social media space and is particularly well-positioned to benefit from online video ad & mobile tailwinds.”

Periscope launch should assist raise engagement. “Periscope now provides a platform to support global broadcasts at scale,” Pitz said.

The app also enables Twitter’s reach to extend beyond just the Twitter platform, which is one area Twitter has been trying to build out and monetize.

The tool then automatically places photos tagged with that name in one place. According to the site, the scrapbook “grows with your child” so it will continue to gather your photos as long as you’re feeding it.

Given that it’s pictures of children (or humans under 13), the network lets parents control all aspects of the feature: naming, tagging and selective sharing. Facebook surveyed parents in the US and found that 65 percent of them tag their partners in child’s pictures.

General Motors Company (GM)

According to Reuters, General Motors Company (GM), will generate $350 million in improved profit over the three years to 2018 from its rollout of 4G LTE mobile broadband in its cars and trucks, the No. 1 U.S. automaker’s chief financial officer said on Wednesday.

Chuck Stevens, speaking at a Bank of America Merrill Lynch conference, called GM’s OnStar 4G LTE connection an “untapped, under-appreciated opportunity.”

4G LTE is a wireless connection that allows faster flow of data and developing better in-car technology is critical to automakers like GM to attract younger, tech-savvy buyers.

General Motors Corporation designs, builds, and sells cars, crossovers, trucks, and automobile parts worldwide. It operates through GM North America, GM Europe, GM International Operations, GM South America, and GM Financial segments.

Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE:RF)
