On Monday, Shares of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (NYSE:TEVA), surged 16.41% to $72, hitting its highest level.

Mylan N.V. (MYL) issued the following statement regarding Teva’s (NYSE and TASE: TEVA) declaration of its entry into a contract to acquire Allergan’s Generic Drug Unit and its withdrawal of its unsolicited expression of interest to acquire Mylan.

Mylan Executive Chairman Robert J. Coury stated: “We congratulate Teva on their agreement to acquire Allergan’s generics business and welcome their continued, and potentially improved, commitment to the generics industry. As Teva continues to move forward with their strategy, Mylan’s planned focus remains unchanged.

Our offer to acquire Perrigo continues to be the next natural step in this strategy. Combining Mylan and Perrigo will create a unique infrastructure that is able to maximize on evolving industry dynamics and capitalize on key trends. Further, the complementary cultures and strategies of these two businesses will enable us to redefine how healthcare is delivered and position our company for the future.

“We look forward to the next step in the process to make our combination with Perrigo a reality – the vote by Mylan shareholders to support this transaction – which we expect to occur in the next several weeks.”

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited develops, manufactures, markets, and distributes generic, specialty, and other pharmaceutical products worldwide. The company operates in two segments, Generic Medicines and Specialty Medicines. The Generic Medicines segment offers generic or branded generic medicines; specialized products, such as sterile products, hormones, narcotics, high-potency drugs, and cytotoxic substances; and active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Shares of JD.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:JD), declined -7.19% to $32.15, during its last trading session.

JD.com unveiled an improved version of its online enterprise procurement platform, JD Enterprise, and declared that it has joined an alliance of leading companies from across the enterprise procurement industry to provide faster, more convenient and more cost-effective procurement solutions to corporate customers across China.

The JD Enterprise Intelligent Procurement Platform, launched in late 2014, uses data-driven insights to make the procurement process more efficient for both suppliers and customers. The new services unveiled recently will enable corporate customers to manage more of their procurement functions directly via JD Enterprise, reducing costs and raising efficiency.

JD.com, Inc., through its auxiliaries, operates as an online direct sales company in the People’s Republic of China. It primarily offers electronics and home appliances products; and general merchandise products, counting audio and video products, and books.

Finally, Broadcom Corp. (NASDAQ:BRCM), ended its last trade with -1.44% loss, and closed at $50.79.

Integrated flow processing with TruFlow can double network throughput and provide up to a 50 percent enhance in application performance contrast to a software-only solution.

Broadcom Corporation provides semiconductor solutions for wired and wireless communications. Its products offer voice, video, data, and multimedia connectivity in the home, office, and mobile environments.
