On Friday, Shares of Well tower Inc (NYSE:HCN), gained 1.85% to $61.67.

Well tower, declared that it has priced C$300 million in aggregate principal amount of 3.35% senior unsecured notes due November 25, 2020. The notes will be issued through a private placement in Canada at 99.740% of their face amount to yield 3.407%. The notes will be issued by the company’s indirect wholly-owned partner, HCN Canadian Holdings - 1, LP, and will be guaranteed fully and unconditionally by Welltower. Subject to customary closing conditions, the offering is predictable to close on November 25, 2015.

The company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes, counting investing in health care and seniors housing properties.

Welltower Inc. is an independent equity real estate investment trust. The firm engages in acquiring, planning, developing, managing, repositioning and monetizing of real estate assets. It primarily invests in the real estate markets of the United States.

GE Healthcare’s Life Sciences business and Emerson Process Administration, a global business of Emerson (EMR), declared a partnership aimed at increasing productivity and improving efficiency in the production of biopharmaceuticals such as monoclonal antibodies and vaccines. The two companies will collaborate to integrate Emerson’s DeltaV™ distributed control system with GE Healthcare’s enterprise offerings and start-to-finish technologies for the global bio manufacturing industry. The first DeltaV-driven GE Healthcare installation, which is predictable to be complete before the end of the year, will be a Flex Factory, GE’s integrated manufacturing platform based on single-use technologies.

Biopharmaceutical manufacturers are increasingly looking to automate production processes, driven by the industry need to improvement efficiency and reduce costs. GE’s start-to-finish portfolio of single-use bio processing technologies already allows manufacturers to reduce set-up times and improvement manufacturing flexibility. Emerson’s DeltaV system, which uses predictive technologies to connect people, processes and production, enables remote monitoring and control from multiple locations across a company’s network and is already widely used in the pharmaceutical industry. The DeltaV system will be offered as an automation control platform for GE’s single-use bio processing offerings.

Chairman Emeritus and former President and Chief Executive Officer of Nucor Corporation (NUE) Daniel R. DiMicco was inducted into the North Carolina Business Hall of Fame on November 17 by the Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas and the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce.
