Active Stocks in the Spotlight: Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI), Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation (NYSE:COG), Workday, Inc. (NYSE:WDAY)

On Monday, Shares of Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI), gained 0.25% to $3.95.

Sirius XM declared that it will broadcast Phish’s Magnaball Festival in Watkins Glen, NY, August 20 through August 23, on SiriusXM’s Jam On channel.

The live broadcast of the festival will comprise seven live Phish sets throughout the weekend. The broadcast will also comprise exclusive material from the band’s archives presented by Phish’s official archivist Kevin Shapiro.

The broadcast will air on Bunny Radio, a live, freeform radio station Phish creates on-site at their festivals. Bunny Radio will take over SiriusXM’s Jam On channel for the weekend-long festival.

Sirius XM Holdings Inc., through its auxiliaries, provides satellite radio services in the United States. The company broadcasts music plus sports, entertainment, comedy, talk, news, traffic, and weather programs, counting various music genres ranging from rock, pop and hip-hop to country, dance, jazz, Latin, and classical; live play-by-play sports from principal leagues and colleges; multitude of talk and entertainment channels for various audiences; national, international, and financial news; and local traffic reports for 22 metropolitan markets.

Shares of Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation (NYSE:COG), declined -0.74% to $26.78, during its last trading session, as oil fell about 1 percent on Monday, with U.S. crude settling within range of a new 6-1/2-year low, after No. 3 oil consumer Japan said its economy contracted in the second quarter and China’s slowdown continued to weigh on sentiment, according to Reuters.

U.S. light crude CLc1 settled down 63 cents, or 1.5 percent, at $41.87 a barrel. Monday’s intraday low of $41.64 came within striking distance of Friday’s low of $41.35, the weakest front-month price since March 2009. Trading in expiring options for U.S. crude dominated the action. Reuters Reports

Brent LCOc1, the global crude benchmark, settled down 45 cents, or nearly 1 percent, at $48.74 a barrel. It earlier hit a session low of $48.35, about $3 above its six-year low of $45.19 set in January. Reuters added.

Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation, an independent oil and gas company, develops, exploits, explores for, produces, and markets natural gas, oil, and natural gas liquids in the United States.

Finally, Workday, Inc. (NYSE:WDAY), ended its last trade with 0.74% gain, and closed at $84.80.

Workday plans to declare its fiscal 2016-second quarter results after market close on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015. The company will host a conference call at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time / 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time to review financial results and business outlook.
