- Sedco 704 - Awarded an estimated 40 day contract extension in the U.K. sector of the North Sea at a dayrate of $219,000 ($9 million estimated backlog).
- The GSF Galaxy III and GSF Monarch are stacked; the rigs were formerly idle.
- Estimated 2015 out-of-service time reduced by a net 51 days; 2016 reduced by a net five days.
Transocean Ltd., together with its auxiliaries, provides offshore contract drilling services for oil and gas wells worldwide. The company primarily offers deepwater and harsh environment drilling services.
Shares of Williams Companies, Inc. (NYSE:WMB), declined -0.93% to $57.49, during its last trading session.
The Williams, and Williams Partners L.P. (WPZ) plan to declare their second-quarter 2015 results after the market closes on Wednesday, July 29.
