Active Stocks on Trader’s Radar: United Parcel Service, Inc. (NYSE:UPS), Owens Corning (NYSE:OC), Continental Resources, Inc. (NYSE:CLR), Merged Edison, Inc. (NYSE:ED)

On Tuesday, Shares of United Parcel Service, Inc. (NYSE:UPS), gained 0.38% to $97.96.

UPS and Staples have made it easier than ever to ship UPS packages from any of Staples’ more than 1,300 U.S. locations. Customers now can charge the cost of shipments at Staples to their UPS account, which means they don’t have to prepare labels ahead of time and will see the invoice, and any customized rates, on their regular UPS invoice.

This feature is particularly useful for people who spend a lot of time on the road, such as distributed sales professionals or technicians. Others, like small business owners, will enjoy the one-stop convenience of start able to purchase office supplies for their business when they ship packages.

United Parcel Service, Inc., a package delivery company, provides transportation, logistics, and financial services in the United States and internationally. It operates in three segments: U.S. Domestic Package, International Package, and Supply Chain & Freight.

Shares of Owens Corning (NYSE:OC), inclined 0.86% to $43.15, during its last trading session.

Owens Corning declared strong progress in reducing its environmental footprint and improving the environmental impact and transparency of its products. The company released these results recently

Owens Corning, together with its auxiliaries, produces and sells glass fiber reinforcements and other materials for composite systems; and residential and commercial building materials worldwide. It operates in three segments: Composites, Insulation, and Roofing.

At the end of Tuesday’s trade, Shares of Continental Resources, Inc. (NYSE:CLR), gained 0.03% to $35.59.

Finally, Merged Edison, Inc. (NYSE:ED), ended its last trade with 0.13% gain, and closed at $61.48.

Merged Edison, declared a quarterly dividend of 65 cents a share on its common stock, payable September 15, 2015, to stockholders of record as of August 19, 2015.
