The in-home streaming feature provides access to virtually the entire channel line-up and Xfinity On Demand programming on mobile devices and computers. Graphic Packaging International Canada, ULC, a partner of Graphic Packaging Holding Company (GPK) declared that it closed its thermo mechanical paperboard mill in Jonquiere, Quebec effective recently. This decision was made as a result of a thorough assessment of the facility’s manufacturing capabilities, associated costs and market demand for its products. The closure will affect about 140 employees.
“The closing of the Jonquiere facility was a difficult decision. We are working closely with the affected employees to provide support and assistance,” said Mike Doss, President and Chief Operating Officer.
The company anticipates one-time costs of $4-5 million in the second half of 2015 related to this closure.
Graphic Packaging Holding Company, together with its auxiliaries, provides paper-based packaging solutions to food, beverage, and other consumer products companies.
