On Friday, Shares of QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM), gained 0.29% to $63.02.

QUALCOMM Incorporated and BRUSA Elektronik AG declared that they have reached a Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging (WEVC) patent license agreement. BRUSA, an automotive Tier 1 power electronics supplier, has licensed Qualcomm HaloTM patented inventions to commercialize WEVC systems for Plug-In Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (EVs). Under the terms of the agreement, Qualcomm granted to BRUSA a royalty-bearing patent license to develop, make and supply WEVC systems for certain automobile manufacturers.

BRUSA has developed its own coil geometry called FRAME® technology. The coil is rectangular and enables inductive charging of electric vehicles with the integration of power electronics both in the vehicle and in the base plate enabling a one box system. As a leader in the development of highly efficient power electronics for electric mobility BRUSA will work with certain major automotive manufacturers to commercialize its wireless charging system counting specific aspects of the Qualcomm HaloTM inventions. Josef Brusa, CEO of BRUSA Elektronik AG is confident: “Wireless charging will win, it will give e-mobility a big boost, it will set new, sustainable technology apart from old gasoline-based technology. We are determined to make wireless charging a reality. We already offer technically sound and commercially viable systems to the market and we are excited about the potential of wireless charging.” BRUSA is presently working on WEVC systems with several leading automakers with firm plans to introduce wireless charging in their automobiles in the near future.

QUALCOMM Incorporated designs, develops, manufactures, and markets digital communications products and services in China, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United States. The company operates through three segments: Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT), Qualcomm Technology Licensing (QTL), and Qualcomm Planned Initiatives (QSI).

Shares of CONSOL Energy Inc. (NYSE:CNX), declined -7.98% to $13.15, during its last trading session, hitting its lowest level.

CONSOL Energy stated financial and operational results for the three months ending June 30, 2015.

Second Quarter Results

Highlights of second quarter 2015 results attributable to the Partnership comprise:

Quarterly Distribution

As formerly declared, the Board of Directors of the General Partner declared a quarterly cash distribution of $0.22 per unit with respect to the second quarter of 2015. The distribution payment will be made on August 14, 2015 to unitholders of record at the close of business on August 5, 2015. The distribution, which equates to an annual rate of $0.88 per unit, represents an enhance of 3.5% over the preceding quarter.
