Shares of Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADI), declined -5.53% to $58.65, during its last trading session.

Analog Devices introduced a quad-channel protector and two multiplexers offering +/-55-V overvoltage protection (OVP) for precision converters, amplifiers and other components that operate from a low voltage of 4.5 V up to 36 V. The ADG5462F quad channel protector, ADG5248F 8:1 multiplexer and ADG5249F differential 4:1 multiplexer offer +/-55-V OVP in power-on and power-off stages and provide robust, precision protection against hot-swapping and operator miss-use events, thereby protecting downstream analog components. By providing on-chip fault diagnostics, the new devices are the first in the industry to detect and avoid defective channels, which simplifies fault detection algorithms and improves system uptime. The new products maximize design flexibility by enabling users to define fault-trigger levels independent of primary supplies. By also removing the need for multiple discrete protection components, the ADG5462F, ADG5248F and ADG5249F optimize PCB area and simplify the design process. The devices are optimized for precision instrumentation, process control and avionics applications.

Analog Devices, Inc. engages in the design, manufacture, and marketing of analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing integrated circuits (ICs) for use in industrial, automotive, consumer, and communication markets worldwide.

Finally, Fluor Corporation (NYSE:FLR), ended its last trade with -0.52% loss, and closed at $49.54.

Fluor Corporation was awarded a 5-year contract by Luminant to provide engineering, maintenance and modifications, and facility services for its Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant. Fluor will book the unrevealed contract value into backlog in the second quarter.

“With a relationship history spanning more than 30 years, Luminant has selected Fluor to provide power services for the Comanche Peak nuclear plant,” said Matthew McSorley, president of Fluor’s Power business. “The addition of this important nuclear asset to Fluor’s portfolio enables us to provide integrated solutions and services to Luminant’s generation system.”

Fluor began providing ongoing maintenance and modification services at four of Luminant’s power plants in 1984 and has since grown the relationship to support all of the company’s fossil power generation units. Fluor formerly serviced the Comanche Peak plant from 1991 until 2006. The nuclear power plant is located in Somervell County, Texas, in close proximity to Fluor’s regional Power Services office.

Fluor Corporation, through its auxiliaries, provides engineering, procurement, construction, fabrication and modularization, commissioning and maintenance, and project administration services worldwide.
