On Monday, Shares of Verizon Communications Inc (NYSE:VZ), lost -0.13% to $46.01.

Verizon continues to rank highest in network quality among U.S. wireless providers in the West Region according to the J.D. Power 2015 Wireless Network Quality Performance Study℠, Volume 2. Verizon’s network performance was significantly higher than the industry average in all six regions nationwide for all three quality categories: calling, messaging and data.

J.D. Power’s West Region comprises Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

From January through June 2015, nearly 49,000 wireless subscribers across the U.S. (48 states and the District of Columbia) were surveyed about their experiences with their last 10 calls, messages, emails and Web connections on their mobile devices. The study asked about calls dropped or disconnected, calls not connected on the first try, calls with audio problems, failed/late voicemail notifications, voicemail with failed calls, text message transmission failures, late/failed received text messages, Web connection errors/failures to load, slow mobile Web, and email connection errors.

Shares of Halcon Resources Corp (NYSE:HK), inclined 9.52% to $1.15, during its last trading session, as oil prices spiked higher after losses earlier in the day, ongoing the commodity’s rally from last week.

WTI crude oil for October delivery was up 8.03% to $48.85 a barrel Monday afternoon, and Brent crude oil for October delivery was up 7.57% to $53.84 a barrel.

Crude oil prices were rising due to data showing slowing U.S. oil production, according to Reuters. U.S. oil production reached about 9.6 million barrels a day in April and fell by more than 300,000 bpd over the next two months, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said on Monday.

The EIA also lowered its production estimates for the first five months of 2015 by 40,000 to 130,000 barrels a day every month, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Halcón Resources Corporation, an independent energy company, is engaged in the acquisition, production, exploration, and development of onshore oil and natural gas properties in the United States.

Finally, ON Semiconductor Corp (NASDAQ:ON), ended its last trade with -3.29% loss, and closed at $9.56.
