Microsoft Corporation new Hello facial recognition system that is built in to Windows 10 is so good, according to an Australian newspaper, that it can tell the difference between identical twins.
After the newspaper conducted tests using Hello with six different pairs of identical twins. To conduct the tests, one of each twins created an account on Lenovo (HKG: 992) ThinkPad laptops, registering their faces with the Hello facial recognition system, which their twin then used to try to log in. Later, the other twin would try to log in to the computer using their face.
Impressively, in each of the six tests, Hello was able to differentiate between the two twins, demonstrating its capabilities, and blocking the twin from signing in.
Microsoft Corporation, a technology company, develops, licenses, and supports software products, services, and devices worldwide. The company’s Devices and Consumer (D&C) Licensing segment licenses Windows operating system and related software; Microsoft Office for consumers; and Windows Phone operating system.
Oil rose as much as 3 percent on Tuesday as oversold conditions brought some buyers back to the market, but a lingering supply glut and worries about the slowing economy in top commodities consumer China kept crude prices near 6-1/2-year lows, according to Reuters.
Futures of U.S. crude and Brent, the global oil benchmark, are both down more than 16 percent on the month. About half of those losses were incurred in the past two sessions as plummeting Chinese equities sparked a selloff across global markets. Reuters reports

Shares of SeaDrill Limited (NYSE:SDRL), remained flat to $6.34, during its last trading session.
SeaDrill Limited will be issuing its quarterly earnings data on Thursday, August 27th. Analysts expect the company to declare earnings of $0.63 per share for the quarter.
Seadrill Limited, an offshore drilling contractor, provides offshore drilling services to the oil and gas industry worldwide. The company operates through Floaters and Jack-up Rigs segments.
Finally, Altria Group Inc. (NYSE:MO), ended its last trade with -0.61% loss, and closed at $51.82.
Altria Group declared Friday morning that its board of directors voted to improvement the regular quarterly dividend by 8.7% to $0.565 per common share from the previous rate of $0.52. The quarterly dividend is payable on October 9 to shareholders of record as of September 15.
The new annualized dividend rate is $2.26 per common share, representing a yield of 4.1% based on Altria’s closing stock price from Thursday of $54.73.
