The most actively traded contract, for June delivery, was recently down $1.30, or 0.1%, at $1,185.60 a troy ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Gold traders are also ongoing to digest U.S. economic data released Tuesday. U.S. new home sales and consumer confidence climbed more than predictable, while U.S. durable goods orders fell, though underlying figures point to an uptick in business investment. WSJ Reports.
