Afternoon Trade News Review: Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA), Microsemi Corporation (NASDAQ:MSCC), Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW)

As part of Microsemi’s TRRUST-Stor best-in-class self-encrypting drive (SED) technology offerings, the XMC offers powerful key administration methods. In the most advanced method, no encryption key is stored in the SSD, leaving data forensically unrecoverable.

Microsemi solves the problem by offering an XMC form factor that plugs directly into the host card and eliminates the need for an external enclosure. In addition, the advanced TRRUST-Stor family of secure SSDs comprises advanced security features such as hardware-based AES256 encryption and advanced key administration systems.

Arrow Electronics, and Intrinsyc Technologies Corp. (ITC.TO), declared Arrow’s availability of Intrinsyc’s Open-Q 410 System on Module as the result of a new franchise agreement between the two companies.

The Open-Q 410 is a miniature embedded computing platform designed to enable the rapid commercial production of intelligent connected products, counting robotics, cameras, set-top boxes, wearables, medical devices and home automation, among others.

The Open-Q 410 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, a product of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a partner of Qualcomm Incorporated.
