Afternoon Trade Stocks Highlights: American Airlines Group, (NASDAQ:AAL), Xerox Corporation, (NYSE:XRX), FireEye, (NASDAQ:FEYE)

During Wednesday’s Afternoon trade, Shares of American Airlines Group Inc. (NASDAQ:AAL), lost -0.97% to $42.31.

American Airlines Group, has recognized four employees with the 2015 Earl G. He was instrumental in starting the interfaith, intercultural Bridges Employee Business Resource Group and played an integral role educating crew members on Muslim etiquette in preparation for the airline’s route launch to Tel Aviv, Israel.

Carla Fink, senior analyst – Alliance Sales, Fort Worth

Fink’s collaborative style and fluency in Japanese have made her a vital piece of our joint business dealings with our partner Japan Airlines. As part of the Allies in Youth development program, Fink leads trips to Russia and Eastern Europe to raise funds and awareness for orphans and works to assist non-English speakers grow and excel. Fink is also the board vice president of the Family Matters Employee Business Resource Group and a key organizer of American’s World Diversity Day.

Ed Pizza, senior planner – Tower Operations, Chicago

Pizza was an integral part of the O’Hare Abilities Employee Business Resource Group’s mock airport event that gave more than 50 families with autistic children the chance to experience the travel process. Participants went through ticket counter check-in, security, gate declarements, boarding and onboard declarements. Pizza also organized a project to recycle and donate worn American Airlines uniform coats to a local shelter for homeless veterans, and is an active supporter of Boy Scouts of America, where he educates children about recycling.

Varita Shelton, representative – Reservations Planning & Analysis, Raleigh-Durham

Shelton is a key organizer for the annual Adopt-an-Island campaign for Antigua, Haiti and Puerto Rico, which donates items for local assistance organizations and assists refurbish buildings. Shelton is a member of several Employee Business Resource Groups.

American Airlines Group Inc., through its auxiliaries, operates in the airline industry. As of December 31, 2014, the company operated 983 mainline jets, in addition to 566 regional aircrafts through regional airline auxiliaries and third-party regional carriers. It serves 339 destinations in 54 countries.

Shares of Xerox Corporation (NYSE:XRX), declined -1.60% to $11.07, during its current trading session.

Xerox Corporation, declared the appointment of Elias Mendoza as head of Corporate Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions, effective June 29, 2015. Mendoza will succeed John Rexford who is retiring later this year.

Mendoza will lead Xerox’s overall business development strategy as well as drive initiatives that deliver on profitable growth. He will also oversee the team of internal and external resources focused on the end-to-end administration of mergers and acquisitions and all related activities.

With over 20 years of experience in global strategy, business development, and M&A execution in and around the technology and services sectors, Mendoza joins Xerox from Siris Capital Group, LLC where he was Managing Director of Investment Development and Strategy. At Siris, he assisted establish and led the practices to identify investment areas and secure opportunities, in addition to develop underlying business strategies for targeted and current portfolio companies. Mendoza was also the Head of IBM’s Global Corporate Development Group, after having joined to lead the company’s M&A and Business Development efforts in the Growth Markets and Japan. He has also held leadership positions at Union Square Advisors, Morgan Stanley and Toronto Dominion Securities, with noteworthy international experience and a focus on global markets.

Mendoza received a Landegger Program Certificate in International Business Diplomacy and an MBA from Georgetown University. He also received an AB in Economics from Princeton University.

Xerox Corporation provides business process and document administration solutions worldwide. The company’s Services segment offers various business process outsourcing services, such as customer care, transaction processing, human resources, communication and marketing, and consulting and analytics services, in addition to finance, accounting, and procurement services.

Finally, FireEye, Inc. (NASDAQ:FEYE), lost -3.35%, and is now trading at $51.06.

The cyber security company had its “buy” rating reiterated with a $62 price target by analysts at Wunderlich.

The price target represents a potential upside of 17.8%.

Analysts at the firm said that the company is “well positioned and significantly differentiated to benefit from the strong security tailwind.”

“In our opinion, FEYE’s “Detect, Prevent, Analyze and Respond” platform remains a top priority for enterprise focused companies. Based on our recent meeting with FEYE, its TAP cloud analytics combines real-time touch points with an unmatched forensic solution and services,” said analysts.

FireEye, Inc., together with its auxiliaries, provides cybersecurity solutions for detecting, preventing, and resolving cyber-attacks. The company offers vector-specific appliance solutions that provide threat protection from network to endpoint for inbound and outbound network traffic that may contain sensitive information.
