Afternoon Trade Stocks Highlights: Duke Energy Corp (NYSE:DUK), TASER International, Inc. (NASDAQ:TASR), Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE:TER)

On Monday, in the course of current trade, Shares of Duke Energy Corp (NYSE:DUK), dropped -0.45%, and is now trading at $73.24.

Construction has started at Duke Energy’s solar facility at the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Onslow County, N.C.

The 13-megawatt (AC) project is Duke Energy’s first solar facility at a military base. Covering 100 acres, the facility is the largest solar installation on a military base in North Carolina. It will be owned and operated by Duke Energy Progress (DEP) and is predictable to be online in 2015.

Duke Energy Corporation, together with its auxiliaries, operates as an energy company in the United States and Latin America. It operates through three segments: Regulated Utilities, International Energy, and Commercial Power.

During an Afternoon trade, Shares of TASER International, Inc. (NASDAQ:TASR), dipped -2.26%, and is now trading at $33.07.

TASER International, body-worn cameras and evidence administration for police forces, expanded its commitment to the UK market, announcing its wholly owned partner, TASER International BV, has attained Tactical Safety Responses Limited (TSR) — its licensed distributor of Smart Weapons and body cameras in the UK. This investment assists expand TASER’s ability to bring key public safety technologies to its partners across the UK by growing its in country sales and support team. TSR will provide unaltered service during the transition, maintaining existing staff and services, in order to ensure that TASER’s current clientele enjoy both continuity and improved quality in its service.

Consistent with the company’s expanded mission, the UK team will operate under the name “Axon Public Safety UK.” The company will retain the current TSR legal name until all appropriate contracts have been transitioned appropriately to the newly branded entity.

TASER International, Inc. develops, manufactures, and sells conducted electrical weapons (CEWs) worldwide. It operates through two segments, TASER Weapons and AXON. The company’s CEW products transmit electrical pulses along the wires and into the body affecting the sensory and motor functions of the peripheral nervous system.

Finally, Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE:TER), lost -1.04% Monday.

Teradyne, will release financial results for the second quarter 2015 on Wednesday, July 29 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) or later.

 

A conference call to talk about the second quarter results, together with administration’s business outlook, will follow at 10 a.m. ET, Thursday, July 30.

Teradyne, Inc. provides automatic test equipment worldwide. The company’s Semiconductor Test segment designs, manufactures, sells, and supports semiconductor test products and services for wafer level and device package testing in automotive, industrial, communications, consumer, computer and electronic game applications, and others.
