Current Trade Stocks Roundup: IAMGOLD Corp (USA) (NYSE:IAG), Mondelez International Inc (NASDAQ:MDLZ), Hertz Global Holdings Inc (NYSE:HTZ)

During Friday’s Morning trade, Shares of IAMGOLD Corp (USA) (NYSE:IAG), gained 2.24% to $1.37.

IAMGOLD Corporation, declared that IAMGOLD’s simplified public tender offer (the “Offer”) for EURO Ressources S.A. (“EURO”) commenced on November 16, 2015 is closed. The Offer was to acquire all of the outstanding common shares of EURO that IAMGOLD did not already own for cash consideration of €2.84 per share.

In conjunction with the conclusion of the Offer, IAMGOLD attained ownership and control of an aggregate of 1,021,647 common shares of EURO representing about 1.6% of the issued and outstanding common shares of EURO (the “Common Shares”) based on 62,491,281 Common Shares issued and outstanding as of September 30, 2015 as stated by EURO in its administration negotiation & analysis for the third financial quarter ended September 30, 2015 (“Outstanding Common Shares”). After giving effect to this acquisition, and together with other Common Shares attained through the Euronext Paris market since submission of the draft Offer to the French Autorité des Marchés Financiers, IAMGOLD beneficially owns and controls an aggregate of 56,058,191 Common Shares, representing about 90% of the Outstanding Common Shares of EURO (from 86% before the Offer).

The acquisition of Common Shares of EURO by IAMGOLD under the Offer was for investment purposes and is consistent with the Company’s planned aim of optimizing its Rosebel gold mining operation.

IAMGOLD Corporation primarily engages in the exploration, development, and operation of gold mining properties. It also explores for silver and copper deposits. The company holds interests in four operating gold mines, in addition to exploration and development projects located in Africa, South America, and Canada. IAMGOLD Corporation was incorporated in 1990 and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.

Shares of Mondelez International Inc (NASDAQ:MDLZ), declined -2.32% to $43.33, during its current trading session.

Mondelez (MDLZ) is “in all the right products with high growth associated with them (candy, gum, and biscuits) …” and it is also a margin improvement story. EBIT margins are predictable to accelerate to 15%-16% in 2016 and Mondelez has managed to achieve double-digit EPS growth which is roughly double its peer group (12% vs. 6%). Near term growth opportunities for the company comprise: 1) new packaging opportunities (e.g. hand-to-mouth mini-size packages), 2) biscuit sales in India, 3) gum sales in China, 4) the global roll-out of Oreo Thins, and 5) broader roll out of “bubbly” or fruit-infused chocolate.

Mondelez International, Inc., through its auxiliaries, manufactures and markets snack food and beverage products worldwide. The company offers biscuits, counting cookies, crackers, and salted snacks; chocolates, and gums and candies; powdered beverages and coffee; and cheese and grocery products.

Finally, Hertz Global Holdings Inc (NYSE:HTZ), gained 0.14%, and is now trading at $14.44.

The Hertz Corporation, made a clean sweep at Travel Weekly’s 13th Annual Readers’ Choice Awards. Hertz won Best Domestic Car Rental Company for the 13th successive time, the only winner in the history of the category, and Best International Car Rental Company for the 12th time.

In addition to the Travel Weekly awards, Recommend magazine recently named Hertz as “Best Travel Agent Support Car Rental Company” in their 19th Annual Readers’ Choice Awards and readers of Premier Traveler Magazine recognized Hertz as the “Best Rental Car Company” in its Best of 2015 survey.
