Jean Nidetch, founder of Weight Watchers International, cultural icon and innovator who inspired millions around the world to live a healthier lifestyle and achieve weight loss success, died recently at her home in Florida. Nidetch was 91 years old and is survived by her son, David Nidetch and three grandchildren.

Nidetch created the innovative meeting concept based on popular gatherings of friends who wanted to lose weight in her Queens, N.Y. living room. She founded Weight Watchers in 1963 and recently the program is the most clinically studied commercial provider of weight administration services operating globally through a network of Company-owned and franchise operations.

Weight Watchers International, Inc. provides weight administration services worldwide. The company operates through North America, United Kingdom, Continental Europe, and Other segments. It offers a range of products and services comprising nutritional, exercise, and behavioral tools and approaches.

Shares of Trinity Industries Inc. (NYSE:TRN), declined -1.04% to $28.66, during its last trading session.

Trinity Industries, declared an enhance in its quarterly dividend to 11 cents per share on its $1.00 par value common stock. The new dividend reflects an enhance of 10% contrast to the current quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share. The quarterly cash dividend, representing Trinity’s 205th successively paid dividend, is payable July 31, 2015 to stockholders of record on July 15, 2015.

Trinity Industries, Inc. provides various products and services for the energy, transportation, chemical, and construction sectors in the United States and internationally. Its Rail Group segment offers railcars, counting autorack, box, covered hopper, gondola, intermodal, tank, and open hopper cars; and couplers, axles, and other equipment, in addition to railcar maintenance services.

At the end of Monday’s trade, Shares of Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI), dipped -1.02% to $3.89.

Owens Corning, declared the appointment of Ava Harter as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective May 18, 2015.

Harter presently serves as general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary of Taleris America LLC, a joint venture between GE Aviation and Accenture. She had formerly served as general counsel of General Electric’s avionics business. She has held senior legal positions at The Dow Chemical Company, in addition to serving in private practice at Jones Day and Thompson Hine LLP in Cleveland, Ohio.

Harter will succeed John Christy and serve as the company’s chief legal advisor, overseeing all aspects of law, compliance and securities compliance for Owens Corning.

Owens Corning, together with its auxiliaries, produces and sells glass fiber reinforcements and other materials for composite systems; and residential and commercial building materials worldwide. It operates in three segments: Composites, Insulation, and Roofing.
