Friday’s Trade Alert - LinkedIn, (NYSE:LNKD), The Boeing Company, (NYSE:BA), Constellium, (NYSE:CSTM), Juniper Networks, (NYSE:JNPR)

On Friday, Shares of LinkedIn Corp (NYSE:LNKD), gained 0.60% to $195.66.

LinkedIn Corp (NYSE:LNKD), announced that it has closed the acquisition of lynda.com, a leading online learning company teaching business, technology and creative skills to help people achieve their professional goals. Based in Carpinteria, CA, lynda.com was co-founded in 1995 by Lynda Weinman and Bruce Heavin.

The transaction is valued at approximately $1.5 billion, in a combination of approximately 52 percent cash and approximately 48 percent stock.

LinkedIn Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, operates an online professional network worldwide. The company, through its proprietary platform, allows members to create, manage, and share their professional identity online; build and engage with their professional networks; access shared knowledge and insights; and find business opportunities.

Shares of The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA), declined -0.73% to $146.88, during its last trading session.

The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA), one of the world’s largest integrated leisure travel companies, have finalized an order for one 787-9 Dream-liner with an option for one further 787-9. The order is valued at $257 million at current list prices. TUI Group also announced that it will substitute two unfilled orders for 787-8s for two 787-9s.

The European leisure group will operate a fleet of 13 787-8s from this summer and with today’s announcement will add three 787-9s to its fleet within the next three years.

The Boeing Company, together with its subsidiaries, designs, develops, manufactures, sells, services, and supports commercial jetliners, military aircraft, satellites, missile defense, human space flight, and launch systems and services worldwide.

At the end of Friday’s trade, Shares of Constellium NV (NYSE:CSTM), lost -7.84% to $15.75.

Highlights below are in comparison to the first quarter of 2014

  • Shipments of 381 thousand metric tons, up 41%
  • Revenue of €1.4 billion, up 58%
  • Adjusted EBITDA of €95 million, up 34%
  • P&ARP revenue more than doubles due to the acquisition of Wise Metals.
  • Automotive rolled shipments up 19%; Automotive extruded shipments up 12%
  • Positive foreign exchange impact on Adjusted EBITDA partially offset by negative effect of premiums
  • Diluted EPS of (€0.30); EPS excluding unrealized losses on derivatives of (€0.02).

Finally, Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE:JNPR), ended its last trade with -0.44% loss, and closed at $27.32.

Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE:JNPR), released details regarding its upcoming participation at the OpenStack Summit Vancouver, an annual conference for developers, users, and administrators of OpenStack Cloud Software.

At the conference, Juniper will participate in multiple sessions including discussions on hybrid clouds, network functions virtualization (NFV) and multi-tenant clouds for software as-a-service (SaaS) applications. Additionally, Juniper will have a demo table located in the sponsor exhibit hall in booth T3, as well as Contrail demos in partner booths, including the Ubuntu supported by Canonical booth P3 and Mirantis booth P7.
