Friday’s Trade News Review: Oil States International, (NYSE:OIS), Allegheny Technologies (NYSE:ATI), Etsy (NASDAQ:ETSY), Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes (NYSE:GOL)

On Friday, Oil States International, Inc. (NYSE:OIS)’s shares declined -2.75% to $29.75.

Oil States International, Inc. (OIS) stated net income for the second quarter ended June 30, 2015 of $6.1 million, or $0.12 per diluted share, which comprised of pre-tax charges of $1.7 million for severance and other downsizing initiatives. Not taking into account these second quarter 2015 charges, net income would have totaled $7.5 million, or $0.15 per diluted share. These results compare to adjusted net income from ongoing operations of $47.6 million, or $0.88 per diluted share, stated in the second quarter of 2014. The results for the second quarter of 2014 excluded spin-off related charges totaling $110.0 million, or $1.33 per diluted share after-tax, associated with the May 30, 2014 spin-off of Oil States’ accommodations segment into a stand-alone, publicly traded corporation, Civeo Corporation or Civeo.

Oil States International, Inc., through its auxiliaries, provides specialty products and services to oil and natural gas companies worldwide. Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:ATI)’s shares dropped -2.74% to $20.96.

Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI) declared that it is expanding its nickel-based superalloy powder capabilities to satisfy strong demand from the aerospace jet engine market and growing demand from the additive manufacturing industry, particularly for 3D printed parts used in the aerospace, medical, electrical energy, and oil and gas markets. The self-funded expansion, which is projected to cost about $70 million and take two years to complete, will be located at the ATI Specialty Materials business unit’s operations near Monroe, NC.

Allegheny Technologies Incorporated produces and sells specialty materials and components worldwide. The company operates through two segments, High Performance Materials and Components; and Flat-Rolled Products. The High Performance Materials and Components segment provides various high performance materials, counting titanium and titanium-based alloys; nickel-and cobalt-based alloys and superalloys; zirconium and related alloys, such as hafnium and niobium, advanced powder alloys, and other specialty materials, in long product forms of ingots, billets, bars, rods, wires, shapes and rectangles, and seamless tubes, plus precision forgings, castings, components, and machined parts.

At the end of Friday’s trade, Etsy Inc (NASDAQ:ETSY)‘s shares dipped -1.10% to $13.44.

As of December 31, 2014, it operated a fleet of 144 aircraft, which comprised of 96 aircraft under operating leases, 45 aircraft under finance leases, and 3 aircraft owned by the company. It also develops and manages its own or third party’s customer loyalty program, in addition to sells redemption rights of awards related to the loyalty program.
