Hot Movements: Nokia Corporation, (NYSE:NOK), Groupon, (NASDAQ:GRPN), Johnson & Johnson, (NYSE:JNJ)

Technology stocks remained higher Thursday’s afternoon trade with shares of technology companies in the S&P 500 advancing more than 0.7%.

On Thursday, among technology stocks shares of Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK), gained 2.11% to $7.27, after it received a price target enhance from RBC Capital Markets.

Nokia Corporation, together with its auxiliaries, provides network infrastructure and related services in Finland, the United States, Japan, China, India, the Russian Federation, Germany, Taiwan, Indonesia, Italy, and internationally. The company operates through four segments: Mobile Broadband, Global Services, HERE, and Nokia Technologies.

Shares of Groupon, Inc. (NASDAQ:GRPN), inclined 2.21% to $5.54, during its last trading session.

On June 5, Blue Calypso, Inc. (BCYP), developer of patented mobile consumer shopping engagement solutions for retailers and product manufacturers, declared the Court has reset a Claim Construction Hearing, or “Markman hearing” for July 8, 2015 in the Eastern District of Texas for Blue Calypso’s patent infringement lawsuits against Groupon (GRPN), Foursquare, Yelp (YELP) and IZEA. The hearing had been planned for Jun 29, 2015. Judge Rodney Gilstrap will preside.

Groupon, Inc. operates online local commerce marketplaces that connect merchants to consumers by offering goods and services at a discount worldwide. It also offers deals on products for which it acts as the merchant of record.

Finally, Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), ended its last trade with 1.65% gain, and closed at $100.36.

Johnson & Johnson, named Dr. Bert Vogelstein of Johns Hopkins University, Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the winner of the 2015 Dr. Paul Janssen Award for Biomedical Research for his breakthroughs in oncology research, which have spanned more than two decades and have formed the basis of modern cancer research.

Dr. Vogelstein was honored last night during a reception at the 2015 BIO International Convention in Philadelphia.
