(EVTC) declared that its operating partner, EVERTEC Group, LLC, reached a contract on August 28, 2015 to purchase 65% of the share capital of Processa S.A.S., a Colombian company that is based in Bogotá and engaged in the business of payment processing and supply of related services and equipment in Colombia. The aggregate purchase price for the shares equals about COP 16,728 million, or about US$5.4 million at current exchange rates, and is subject to customary adjustments.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, counting receipt of US federal bank regulatory approval. The transaction is subject to customary termination provisions, counting the right of either EVERTEC or the selling shareholders to terminate the transaction if it has not closed within three months after signing of the share purchase agreement. Receipt of US federal bank regulatory approval is dependent on factors outside the control of EVERTEC. There is no assurance that such approval will be obtained within three months after signing of the share purchase agreement or at all.

At the end of Wednesday’s trade, RSP Permian Inc (NYSE:RSPP)‘s shares surged 2.91% to $23.72.

RSP Permian, Inc. (“RSP” or the “Company”) (RSPP) has closed its formerly declared bolt-on acquisitions in the Company’s existing core operating areas in the Midland Basin for an aggregate purchase price of about $274 million in cash, subject to certain post-closing adjustments. As formerly revealed, the acquisitions comprise 5,704 net surface acres, or 27,287 net effective horizontal acres, in the Midland Basin with 162 net horizontal drilling locations in five zones (Middle Spraberry, Lower Spraberry, Wolfcamp A, Wolfcamp B and Wolfcamp D (Cline)). The attained properties comprise over 85 million Boe of resource potential based on internal estimates, are 100% operated by RSP, are 100% held by production and have an average royalty burden of only 23%.

Substantially concurrent with the closing of the acquisitions, RSP closed an amendment with the lenders under its revolving credit facility that, among other things, enhances the borrowing base 20% to $600 million. The Company presently has no amounts drawn under its revolving credit facility and the next planned borrowing base redetermination is May 1, 2016.

RSP Permian, Inc., an independent oil and natural gas company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, and production of unconventional oil and associated liquids-rich natural gas reserves in the Permian Basin of West Texas. It owns interest in contiguous acreage blocks in the core of the Midland Basin, a sub-basin of the Permian Basin, primarily in the adjacent counties of Midland, Martin, Andrews, Dawson, Ector, and Glasscock.

Apollo Education Group Inc (NASDAQ:APOL), ended its Wednesday’s trading session with 1.20% gain, and closed at $10.94.

University of Phoenix® School of Business and the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC) declared a new educational training program for USBC members and African-American small business owners. The USBC Step Up Entrepreneurs Program, powered by University of Phoenix, comprises a three-course, 15-week credit-bearing component that comprises online classroom instruction taught by University of Phoenix School of Business faculty, and takes students through courses counting personal cash flow, market analyses and financial performance.

Students will create their business plans following completion of the courses to develop a business model, strategy, financial forecasts, competition benchmarks and implementation and performance tracking. Starting in January 2016, the program will start in five major cities throughout USBC’s regions across the country and is backed by a $500,000 grant from University of Phoenix.

At the start of each course, participants are encouraged to attend an in-person micro operateshop with a local USBC expert on topics such as accounting and finance, marketing, operations and customer service. A key component of this opportunity comprises the creation of a feasibility plan that can be presented for either a traditional bank or micro plan partner. Students who complete the courses will earn nine hours of college credit, which can be applied towards a certificate or degree program at University of Phoenix.
