On Tuesday, DTE Energy Co (NYSE:DTE)’s shares declined -3.32% to $76.59.

Peter Oleksiak, DTE Energy senior vice president and chief financial officer, will provide a business update at the Barclays CEO Energy - Power Conference on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015.

The 30-minute presentation is planned to start at 7:45 a.m. ET.

DTE Energy Company operates in the utility operations. The company’s Electric segment engages in the generation, purchase, distribution, and sale of electricity to about 2.1 million residential, commercial, and industrial customers in southeastern Michigan. It generates electricity through fossil-fuel, hydroelectric pumped storage, and nuclear plants, in addition to wind and other renewable assets. This segment owns and operates about 675 distribution substations; and about 432,900 line transformers. Its Gas segment is involved in the purchase, storage, transportation, distribution, and sale of natural gas to about 1.2 million residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Michigan, in addition to in the sale of storage and transportation capacity. This segment has about 19,000 miles of distribution mains, 1,162,000 service pipelines, and 1,313,000 active meters; and owns about 2,000 miles of transmission pipelines.

MasTec, Inc. (NYSE:MTZ)’s shares dropped -1.54% to $14.67.

MasTec, Inc. (MTZ) declared 2015 second quarter financial results and updated its guidance for the balance of the year.

Second quarter 2015 revenue reduced 3.7% to $1.07 billion from $1.1 billion in the preceding year quarter. The quarterly revenue change was primarily composed of revenue declines in the Electrical Transmission and Communications segments, partially offset by revenue enhances in the Oil & Gas and Power Generation & Industrial segments. Second quarter 2015 net loss from ongoing operations was $3.8 million, or $0.05 per diluted share, contrast to net income from ongoing operations of $33.7 million, or $0.39 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2014. Second quarter 2015 results comprise about $0.14 per diluted share for non-operating and non-core charges not comprised of in preceding year results, composed primarily of WesTower acquisition integration costs, Audit Committee investigation related costs and the nonrecurring impact of an income tax law change in Alberta, Canada.

MasTec, Inc., an infrastructure construction company, provides engineering, building, installation, maintenance, and upgrade services for communications, energy, and utility infrastructure in the United States and internationally. It operates in five segments: Communications, Oil and Gas, Electrical Transmission, Power Generation and Industrial, and Other.

At the end of Tuesday’s trade, The Valspar Corp (NYSE:VAL)‘s shares dipped -3.21% to $73.30.

To commemorate the return of Valspar Corporation’s headquarters to the historic Mill District area in Minneapolis, the Valspar Foundation recently declared $65,000 in grants to five non-profit organizations: MacPhail Center for Music, Mill City Museum, Minnesota Center for Book Arts, the Mill City Farmers Market and the Guthrie Theater.

The Valspar Foundation grants will assist fund the non-profit organizations’ ongoing programs and enable more people to enjoy their activities and offerings.

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE:WSM), ended its Tuesday’s trading session with 0.31% gain, and closed at $81.06.

Brooklyn-based home furnishing retailer West Elm, a member of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. portfolio of brands (WSM), recently declared it will open its first shop-in-shop in John Lewis, the UK’s largest department store retailer. The shop-in-shop will open on September 3rd in John Lewis’s newly renovated flagship store on Oxford Street in London following the launch of a branded shop online at johnlewis.com. The West Elm shop-in-shop is part of John Lewis’s multi-million pound home department makeover and represents the first time West Elm products will be accessible outside of the brand’s own stores and websites.
