Positive Movers Recap - Angie’s List, (NASDAQ:ANGI), 3D Systems Corporation, (NYSE:DDD), Stratasys, (NASDAQ:SSYS), SandRidge Energy, (NYSE:SD)

On Wednesday, Angie’s List, Inc. (NASDAQ:ANGI)’s shares surged 5.87% to $5.95.

Angie’s List, declared that William S. Oesterle plans to step down as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Oesterle has agreed to remain in his current role as CEO until a successor is designated, and he will serve on the Board of Directors at least through the remainder of his current term. Mr. Oesterle, co-founder of the Company, has served as Chief Executive Officer since January 1999 and on the Board since the inception of Angie’s List in June 1995. After 20 years with the Company overseeing noteworthy growth and market expansion, Mr. Oesterle has shared his intention to pursue other interests, counting becoming more civically involved in the State of Indiana.

The Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors has initiated a search to identify a new CEO. Internal and external candidates will be considered. The Company has retained Spencer Stuart, a leading executive search firm, to assist in the process.

3D Systems Corporation, declared that it will host the first-ever Cubify(R) Pop-Up Shop in the Javits Center during 3D Print Week NY in New York City on April 16th and 17th. Located in Exhibit Hall 1D at Booth 901 at the 3D Print Design Show, the Cubify Pop-Up Shop will be selling a sampling of all that 3D printing has to offer, from 3D printed fashion, decor and accessories to plug-and-play 3D printers and scanners. In addition, 3DS experts will demonstrate how to incorporate 3D digital design and fabrication in your home, work and play in several workshops held at the Inside 3D Printing Conference at the Javits Center.

(SSYS), a global leader of 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions, declared the introduction of the new Xtend 500 Fortus Plus, a high-volume filament package for Fortus 3D Production Systems. Stratasys also launched the industrial scale Objet1000 Plus 3D Production System which offers extra-large print size and accelerated speeds for demanding manufacturing applications counting aerospace, automotive, medical devices, and consumer products in addition to for service bureaus and universities.

Designed for reliable and unattended high-volume use, each Xtend 500 box contains 500 cubic inches of FDM thermoplastic material, delivering more than five times the output of standard canisters. When two material boxes are loaded into a Fortus 3D Production System, users can expect up to 400 hours of unattended run time and up to 1,000 cubic inches of material use.

Xtend 500 gives users the freedom of fewer material changeovers, resulting in streamlined 3D production. Stratasys Ltd. provides additive manufacturing (AM) solutions for the creation of parts used in the processes of designing and manufacturing products; and for the direct manufacture of end parts. Finally, SandRidge Energy, Inc. (NYSE:SD), ended its Wednesday’s trading session with 5.80% gain, and closed at $2.19, as oil prices extended their rally.

Last day, WTI crude was up 4.86% to $55.88 at 2:05 p.m., while Brent crude rallied 2.14% to $59.68, according to CNBC.

Oil prices extended their rally from Tuesday as government data demonstrated a smaller-than-predictable raise in crude oil stockpiles in the U.S. in the latest week.

The International Energy also said oil demand would raise by 1.1 million barrels a day in 2015, which would mark a “notable acceleration” from last year’s growth of 700,000 barrels a day.
