On Thursday, Shares of Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S), lost -6.11% to $4.46.

In conjunction with the city of Kansas City, Mo., and Cisco, Sprint Corporation, declared it is deploying Cisco hardware to construct, own and manage the intelligent Wi-Fi network that will serve as the backbone of Kansas City’s Smart+Connected City framework. Sprint will be the first mobile service provider to play an important connectivity role in the development of a U.S.-based Smart+Connected City ecosystem.

The Wi-Fi network will operate along the 2.2-mile Kansas City streetcar line through downtown. Kansas City will join Barcelona, Spain; Copenhagen, Denmark; and Hamburg, Germany as hubs for this breakthrough technology.

The Sprint Wi-Fi intelligent communications network infrastructure will enable everything from simple Wi-Fi connectivity (for Sprint customers, Kansas Citians and visitors) to smart city applications that deliver maps and information and efficiently address and manage parking, traffic, city lighting, water and waste administration. Pinsight Media+, a partner of Sprint, will operate the data analytics and advertising platform, bolstering the intelligent network to enable commerce and brand connections to assist bring services to life.

Shares of Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO), declined -0.76% to $42.88, during its last trading session.

The National Football League (NFL) declared that it has selected Yahoo, as its exclusive partner to deliver the first-ever live stream of an NFL game to a global audience across devices and for free. This partnership will bring the NFL’s International Series game in London, between the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars on October 25, to Yahoo properties globally, counting Yahoo, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Screen and Tumblr, which attract more than one billion monthly users.

With this partnership, the NFL will extend its digital presence, making some of the most valuable content in sports and entertainment accessible across multiple digital platforms free for all users. The NFL is leveraging Yahoo’s global audience, digital advertising capabilities, and delivery platforms, which span desktop, mobile, tablet, connected TVs, and set-top boxes, to ensure that the Bills-Jaguars game is accessible on every screen globally.

Yahoo! Inc. provides search and display advertising services on Yahoo properties and associate sites worldwide. The company offers Yahoo Search that serves as a starting point to navigate the Internet and discover information; and Yahoo Answers, which enables users to seek, discover, and share knowledge and opinions across mobile phones, tablets, and desktops.

At the end of Thursday’s trade, Shares of Calpine Corp. (NYSE:CPN), lost -2.64% to $19.57, hitting its lowest level.

Calpine Corporation, declared that it has closed on a $1.6 billion first lien term loanThe Term Loan, which amortizes at a rate of 1% per year, bears interest at LIBOR plus 2.75% per annum (subject to a LIBOR floor of 0.75%) and matures in 2022.

Calpine utilized the proceeds of the Term Loan to retire about $1.6 billion remaining on its 2018 first lien term loan which bore interest at a rate of LIBOR plus 3% per annum (subject to a LIBOR floor of 1%).

Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Mitsubishi, Barclays and RBC acted as lead arrangers on the transaction.

Calpine Corporation, a wholesale power generation company, owns and operates natural gas-fired and geothermal power plants in North America. It operates natural gas-fired combustion turbines and renewable geothermal conventional steam turbines.

Finally, Royal Dutch Shell plc (NYSE:RDS-A), ended its last trade with -1.66% loss, and closed at $58.55.
