Pre-Market News Buzz on: Sprint Corporation, (NYSE:S), Southwestern Energy, (NYSE:SWN), ON Semiconductor, (NASDAQ:ON)

On Tuesday, Shares of Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S), lost -2.35% to $4.58.

Sprint Corporation, has finished in a tie for first place as the top ranked overall wireless network in Indianapolis, according to independent mobile analytics firm RootMetrics®. The new analysis shows Sprint in a dead heat for #1 in overall wireless network performance.

This is the first time Sprint has had a shared win for overall network performance in Indianapolis. This testing marks the eighth time RootMetrics has tested Indianapolis, with the last test occurring in November 2014.

“Indianapolis is a great city and it deserves a great network – we are proud to deliver just that,” said Marcelo Claure, Sprint CEO. “Making sure our customers have the best service is our #1 priority and there’s never been a better time to join Sprint.”

Sprint Corporation, through its auxiliaries, provides various wireless and wireline communications products and services to consumers, businesses, government subscribers, and resellers in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Shares of Southwestern Energy Co. (NYSE:SWN), inclined 1.21% to $24.32, during its last trading session, as both WTI and Brent crude prices rise to trade in the green.

The U.S. crude-oil benchmark, known as West Texas Intermediate, settled up 63 cents, or 1%, at $61.01 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent, the global benchmark, rose $1.11, or 1.8%, to $64.45 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe. WSJ Reports.

Southwestern Energy Company, an independent energy company, engages in the exploration, development, and production of natural gas and oil in the United States. The company operates in two segments, Exploration, Development and Production; and Midstream Services.

Technology stocks were hanging on to slim gains late in Tuesday’s session after earlier reversing small losses, with shares of technology companies in the S&P 500 advancing about 0.2%.

Among Technology stocks, ON Semiconductor Corp. (NASDAQ:ON), ended its last trade with 0.24% gain, and closed at $12.58.

ON Semiconductor Corporation manufactures and sells semiconductor components for various electronic devices worldwide. It operates in four segments: Application Products Group, Image Sensor Group, Standard Products Group, and System Solutions Group.
