On Friday, Shares of Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK), gained 0.84% to $13.15, hitting its lowest level, as Energy stocks were extending their session-long gains in late trade, with the NYSE Energy Sector Index rising over 1.1% while shares of energy companies in the S&P 500 were up 0.9% as a group.

Brent crude oil for July was down 30 cents at $61.73 a barrel by 1315 GMT after earlier rising to a high of $62.83.

Chesapeake Energy Corporation engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of properties for the production of oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGL) from underground reservoirs in the United States.

Shares of Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE:DAL), declined -0.05% to $42.90, during its last trading session.

Delta Air Lines, has reached a tentative contract agreement with its pilots union, members said yesterday in a letter, The Wall Street Journal stated. Details of the contract were not revealed.

“This agreement represents the culmination of tremendous effort on your behalf,” Delta MEC Chairman Mike Donatelli said in the letter, according to Reuters.

The new labor deal is six months ahead of plan, the Journal noted.

The deal will be reviewed for seven days by The Delta Master Executive Council (MEC), which is a unit of the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA), Reuters stated. If approved, the deal will be presented to Delta’s entire pilot base for a vote.

At the end of Friday’s trade, Shares of Molson Coors Brewing Company (NYSE:TAP), lost -3.01% to $72.61.

Molson Coors Brewing Company, declared that consumer product executive Mary Lynn Ferguson-McHugh will join its board of directors, effective right away.

Ferguson-McHugh is the Group President of Global Family Care for Procter & Gamble Company (PG), one of the world’s largest makers of consumer packaged goods. P&G has one of the strongest portfolios of trusted, quality, leadership brands, counting Always, Bounty, Charmin, Crest, Gillette, Olay, Oral-B, Pampers, Pantene and Tide.

Ferguson-McHugh joins the Molson Coors board of directors as an independent director and replaces Dr. Francesco Bellini, who stepped down as a director last year. With her appointment, the Molson Coors board of directors now comprises fourteen directors.
