Pre-Market Stocks Recap: ICICI Bank, (NYSE:IBN), Corning, (NYSE:GLW), Johnson & Johnson, (NYSE:JNJ)

On Monday, Shares of ICICI Bank Ltd. (NYSE:IBN), gained 1.07% to $10.39, as Financial stocks posted strong gains Monday with the NYSE Financial Sector Index climbing nearly 1.2% and the S&P Financial 100 Index adding almost 0.8%.

ICICI Bank Limited, together with its auxiliaries, provides banking and financial services in India and internationally. The company operates through Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, Treasury, Other Banking, Life Insurance, General Insurance, and Others segments.

Shares of Corning Inc. (NYSE:GLW), inclined 0.57% to $21.06, during its last trading session.

Corning Incorporated, and Tianma Micro-Electronics Group declared Tianma`s selection of Corning Lotus(TM) NXT Glass for its two new low-temperature polysilicon (LTPS) display panel models.

Tianma successfully incorporated Lotus NXT Glass into its 5.46-inch and 4.97-inch full high-definition products. Tianma creates LTPS panels for use in high-resolution smartphones and tablets that feature upward of 500 pixels per inch (ppi).

Lotus NXT Glass provides industry-leading levels of minimal total pitch variation. This allows panel makers to use tighter design rules, assisting them improve yields and develop higher-resolution devices with lower power consumption.

Corning unveiled Lotus NXT Glass June 1 at Display Week in San Jose, Calif., an industry tradeshow hosted by the Society for Information Display.

Corning Incorporated manufactures and sells specialty glasses, ceramics, and related materials worldwide. The company operates through five segments: Display Technologies, Optical Communications, Environmental Technologies, Specialty Materials, and Life Sciences.

Finally, Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), ended its last trade with 0.23% gain, and closed at $100.09.

Johnson & Johnson, named Dr. Bert Vogelstein of Johns Hopkins University, Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the winner of the 2015 Dr. Paul Janssen Award for Biomedical Research for his breakthroughs in oncology research, which have spanned more than two decades and have formed the basis of modern cancer research.

Dr. Vogelstein was honored last night during a reception at the 2015 BIO International Convention in Philadelphia.

“Dr. Vogelstein’s work forms the paradigm for understanding how nearly all forms of human tumors arise and progress,” said Paul Stoffels, M.D., Chief Scientific Officer and Worldwide Chairman, Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson. “His discoveries triggered a new wave of innovation in the field, resulting in transformational solutions for patients.
