On Wednesday, China Cord Blood Corp (NYSE:CO)’s shares inclined 4.21% to $6.43.

As previously announced, the Company’s board of directors formed the Special Committee to review and evaluate the April 27, 2015 non-binding proposal from Golden Meditech Holdings Limited (“Golden Meditech”) to acquire all of the outstanding ordinary shares of the Company not already directly or indirectly owned by Golden Meditech in a “going private” transaction.

China Cord Blood Corporation, together with its auxiliaries, primarily provides umbilical cord blood storage and ancillary services in the People’s Republic of China. At the end of Wednesday’s trade, Qlik Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:QLIK)‘s shares surged 1.01% to $36.98.

Under the terms of a five-year multi-country managed services agreement, Ericsson (ERIC) will manage Smile Communications` 4G/LTE networks across all operations. This is the first 4G/LTE managed services contract signed in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Ericsson will provide a fully managed end-to-end service that comprises network operations, performance, optimization, field support and maintenance for Smile`s LTE networks in Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria and - later - in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

This managed services contract extends Ericsson`s relationship with Smile in Nigeria, where Ericsson is Smile`s sole vendor for 4G networks. The agreement also leverages Ericsson`s more than 15 years of experience in managing multi-vendor, multi-technology networks in Tanzania, Uganda and the DRC.

Ericsson provides communications technology and services worldwide. The company’s Networks segment delivers products and solutions for mobile access, Internet protocol (IP) and transmission networks, core networks, and cloud. This segment offers radio access solutions; IP routing and transport solutions; transmission/backhaul solutions comprising microwave and optical transmission solutions for mobile and fixed networks; IP multimedia subsystem solutions; and operations support systems, in addition to supports operators’ administration of existing networks.
