Nokia Networks will provide TDD-LTE-A technology based on the Flexi Multi-radio 10 Base Station. This technology will support a wide range of frequency bands counting 2.6 GHz (band 41), 2.3 GHz (band 40) and 1.9 GHz (band 39). Additionally, Nokia will supply carrier aggregation software for both macro and small cells to combine the various spectrums for faster data transmission and Flexi Zonesmall cells.

Nokia Corporation (Nokia) has decided to acquire Alcatel-Lucent SA ALU for a consideration of € 15.6 billion (about $17.8 billion). The deal is likely to be accomplished in the first half of 2016. A full takeover of Alcatel-Lucent by Nokia will create a network solutions behemoth in the industry with a noteworthy global customer base and solid operational efficiencies.
