Stocks to Track- Sphere 3D Corp. (NASDAQ:ANY), Apollo Education Group Inc (NASDAQ:APOL), Forest City Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:FCE.A), Expedia Inc (NASDAQ:EXPE)

On Wednesday, Shares of Sphere 3D Corp. (NASDAQ:ANY), lost -1.45% to $2.71.

Sphere 3D Corp, declared “Let’s Get Smart on Technology,” a new program designed to assist small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) secure and access their company’s data anywhere, any place, anytime whether in the office or in the cloud. The initial launch of the program is specifically tailored to the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC) and its 115 Chambers in 28 states with 245,000 business members.

In partnership with the USBC, Sphere 3D will offer an integrated set of technologies and support, which will comprise executive level interactions with the organization’s local Chamber presidents for delivery of a variety of solutions and services.

Shares of Apollo Education Group Inc (NASDAQ:APOL), inclined 4.23% to $10.84, during its last trading session.

Carnegie Learning, Inc., a partner of Apollo Education Group, Inc. (APOL), declared that its Co-founder and Chief Scientist, Steve Ritter, Ph.D., will be featured on a panel at the California “Tech for Schools” Superintendent’s Summit: presented by EdSurge, the California Department of Education and the Californians Dedicated to Education Foundation in Davis, Calif., on Aug. 4, 2015. The panel will talk about how educators and students use technology in a collaborative environment with input from all stakeholders.

The summit brings together leading superintendents and district teams, comprising of curriculum and technology directors and board members, from across California together with creative educational technology entrepreneurs. The aim is to advance critical innovative technologies and familiarize participants with rules for assessing new technology in California school districts. At the end of Wednesday’s trade, Shares of Forest City Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:FCE.A), gained 1.24% to $21.27.

Forest City Enterprises declared that its Board of Directors has set the date of a special meeting of shareholders in connection with the company’s formerly declared plan to convert to a real estate investment trust. The meeting will be held on October 15, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., Eastern Time. Shareholders of record as of the close of business on August 31, 2015, will be entitled to receive notice of and to vote at the meeting.

The company also declared that its partner, Forest City Realty Trust, Inc., has filed an amended registration statement on Form S-4 with the Securities and Exchange Commission related to the planned REIT conversion.

Forest City Enterprises, Inc. acquires, owns, develops, and manages commercial and residential real estate and land in the United States. The company’s Commercial group acquires, owns, develops, and operates regional malls, specialty/urban retail centers, office and life science buildings, and mixed-use projects, in addition to operates Barclays Center, a sports and entertainment arena located in Brooklyn, New York.

Finally, Expedia Inc (NASDAQ:EXPE), ended its last trade with 6.29% gain, and closed at $115.24.

Expedia declared that it has selected award-winning architecture firm Bohlin Cywinski Jackson (BCJ) to design its new 40-acre waterfront campus in Seattle. Expedia plans to relocate to the new campus in the City of Seattle from its current location in downtown Bellevue by 2018.

Expedia’s future campus is ideally situated at the north end of Seattle’s waterfront, which is in the midst of a billion dollar redevelopment and re-emergence as an excellent park, and located just minutes from downtown Seattle and along the Elliott Bay shoreline. It is also steps from the Seattle Art Museum’s 8.5-acre outdoor sculpture park and Myrtle Edwards Park.
