During Tuesday’s trade, Shares of American Electric Power Company Inc (NYSE:AEP) , gained 2.90% to $56.14.

AEP Ohio, a unit of American Electric Power (AEP) filed with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) a stipulated agreement in support of the company’s expanded Purchase Power Agreement (PPA). The agreement will be signed or unopposed by 11 parties, counting the PUCO staff, Sierra Club, Ohio Partners for Affordable Energy, Ohio Energy Group, Ohio Hospital Association, Mid-Atlantic Renewable Energy Coalition, in addition to three competitive retail energy suppliers.

“We are happy to have reached a contract on a comprehensive plan that assists ensure more stable electricity prices for Ohio consumers and promotes a reliable and diverse generation supply to support the Ohio economy,” said Pablo Vegas, AEP Ohio president and chief operating officer. “This agreement addresses many of the concerns raised by a diverse group of parties counting advocates for low-income customers, environmental organizations, industrial and commercial customers and competitive energy suppliers. We appreciate the willingness of everyone involved to work together to support the state economy, preserve jobs, improve the environmental impact of Ohio’s electricity generation resources and protect Ohio customers from electricity price volatility.”

The stipulated agreement, predictable to be ruled on by the PUCO early in 2016, would require AEP Ohio to enter into an eight-year power purchase agreement (ending May 31, 2024) for the capacity, energy and ancillary service output of AEP’s 2,671 megawatt (MW) ownership share of nine generating units and AEP Ohio’s 423 MW contractual share of Ohio Valley Electric Corporation (OVEC) generation. The nine generating units comprise Cardinal Unit 1 in Brilliant (Jefferson County); Conesville Units 4, 5 & 6 in Conesville (Coshocton County); Stuart Units 1-4 in Aberdeen (Brown County); and Zimmer Unit 1 in Moscow (Clermont County).

American Electric Power Company, Inc., a public utility holding company, engages in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity for sale to retail and wholesale customers. The company generates electricity using coal and lignite, natural gas, nuclear, and hydroelectric and other energy sources.

Shares of ACE Limited (NYSE:ACE), inclined 1.28% to $115.56, during its current trading session.

ACE Limited (ACE) declared the future leadership team it intends to appoint for the company’s North America and international Risk Engineering Practices. The leadership appointments will take effect upon completion of the acquisition of Chubb, which is predictable in the first quarter of 2016.

The Risk Engineering Practices will offer commercial clients of the new Chubb a range of services focused on identifying exposures, assessing the adequacy of existing controls and working with customers to improve their efforts to minimize losses. The practices will offer customized risk administration and loss control programs and specialized consulting geared to the identification of obstacles to quick disaster recovery, such as hard-to-replace machine parts or dependence on a single supplier. The practices will serve the wide range of industries represented in the company’s customer base.

Steven Hernandez will lead the company’s North America Risk Engineering Practice and Home Office Technical Staff. Presently, Mr. Hernandez is Senior Vice President, Worldwide Loss Control Manager for Chubb Commercial Insurance. Mr. Hernandez will be responsible for risk engineering service programs for commercial customers in North America. Mr. Hernandez will also be responsible for the company’s thought leadership on major loss control, environmental health and safety topics.

ACE Limited, through its auxiliaries, provides a range of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance products worldwide. The company’s Insurance North American P&C segment offers casualty insurance, environmental, inland marine, professional risk, disaster protection, vacant land and building, and claims and risk administration services; homeowners, automobile, valuables, umbrella liability, and recreational marine insurance; and wholesale excess and surplus lines property, casualty, environmental, professional liability, inland marine, and product recall coverages.

Finally, Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE:WSM), gained 2.46%, and is now trading at $60.50.

Also competing were former WSOM champions, counting WSOM 2007 champion Mr. Hui Chung Lai, WSOM 2008 champion Mr. Ho Kwok Hung, and WSOM 2010 champion Mr. Chan Tak Kwan. Mr. Hui Chung Lai made the top 8 this year and said that the new electronic mahjong tables had raised the pace of the competition.

Mr. Zhao Jian is now the first champion from China, as he states “I started playing mahjong when I was five. I was not doing well in the first four sessions, so I’m thrilled to have won. I think it was a combination of strategy and luck for me recently.”
