Stocks Under Review - AT&T, Inc. (NYSE:T) Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) Newfield Exploration Co. (NYSE:NFX)

On Friday, Shares of AT&T, Inc. (NYSE:T), lost -0.45% to $33.29.

AT&T, has been awarded a four-year contract by the U.S. Federal Emergency Administration Agency (FEMA) to assist it modernize communications in support of improved collection, validation and processing of claims for disaster survivors.

Under terms of the agreement, AT&T* will provide FEMA interactive voice response capabilities and contact center services that scale to accommodate surging traffic volumes during disasters. AT&T teamed with Interactive Intelligence as subcontractor to provide FEMA this highly-secure, state of the art, software-based solution.

FEMA awarded the contract to AT&T under the General Services Administration’s Networx Universal contracting program for telecommunications services.

AT&T Inc. provides telecommunications services in the United States and internationally. The company operates through two segments, Wireless and Wireline.

Shares of Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ), inclined 0.86% to $28.03, during its last trading session.

Hewlett-Packard Company, declared new solutions to assist businesses capitalize on their VMware environments through faster time to implementation and greater return on investment. These new products and services are the latest in a series of recent innovations optimized for VMware vSphere, counting new hyper-converged and all-flash storage systems declared earlier this month.

Building on its 15-year relationship with VMware, HP recently declared:

  • An extension of a longstanding global server OEM relationship, which now provides HP the ability to sell VMware NSX™, allowing customers to deploy applications faster, simplify and automate their data center network fabric and improve security

  • New Converged Architecture, delivered as one integrated stack by a choice of certified channel partners saving customers time and resources
  • New HP Software-defined Compute Services for VMware solutions, Network Virtualization Services for VMware NSX, Client Virtualization Services and Education Services for VMware that will enable organizations to better react to changing business dynamics, while providing a secure, stable environment
