Three Active Stocks - Lam Research Corporation, (NASDAQ:LRCX), Ford Motor, (NYSE:F), Fortinet, (NASDAQ:FTNT)

During Tuesday’s current trade, Shares of Lam Research Corporation (NASDAQ:LRCX), gained 8.18%, and is now trading at $77.88, after the chipmaker beat analysts’ estimates for earnings and revenue in the fiscal third quarter.

Lam Research stated earnings of $1.40 a share for the fiscal third quarter, beating analysts’ estimates of $1.30 a share for the quarter. Revenue grew 13% from the previous quarter to $1.39 billion for the quarter, above analysts’ estimates of $1.37 billion.

Shipments grew 20% from the second quarter to $1.497 billion in the fiscal third quarter.

The company said it anticipates to report earnings of $1.39 to $1.53 a share and revenue of $1.55 billion to $1.65 billion for the fiscal fourth quarter. Analysts expect Lam Research to report earnings of $1.35 a share and revenue of $1.39 billion for the fourth quarter.

Lam Research Corporation designs, manufactures, markets, refurbishes, and services semiconductor processing systems used in the fabrication of integrated circuits. The company provides thin film deposition products, counting SABRE Product Family for copper damascene manufacturing; ALTUS systems deposit conformal atomic layer films for tungsten metallization applications.

During an afternoon trade, Shares of Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F), dropped -0.79%, and is now trading at $15.78.
