In a first for a broadcast network, NBC in May put all 13 “Aquarius” episodes online for four weeks right after the premiere aired on TV. The move was similar to Netflix’s strategy of releasing entire seasons at once for binge watching. Reuters added.

Shares of Novavax, Inc. (NASDAQ:NVAX), declined -1.54% to $13.44, during its last trading session.

Novavax Inc. surged the most in six years after its vaccine assisted elderly patients in a mid-stage study fend off a potentially lethal respiratory virus, according to Bloomberg.

The vaccine reduced the risk of the disease associated with lower respiratory infection by 46 percent when contrast with a placebo in 1,600 patients aged 60 and older, according to a statement late Monday. The shares rose 24 percent to $13.89 at the close in New York on Tuesday, giving Novavax a market value of $3.75 billion. Bloomberg Reports

There are presently no approved vaccines to prevent respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, which kills about 14,000 American adults over 65 every year, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. About 4.9 percent of participants who received the placebo showed symptoms of RSV, the study found. Treating RSV in the elderly is Novavax’s largest opportunity, according to Joel Beatty, an analyst at Citigroup Inc. Bloomberg said.

Novavax, Inc., a clinical-stage vaccine company, focuses on discovering, developing, and commercializing recombinant nanoparticle vaccines and adjuvants. The company produces its vaccines using its proprietary recombinant nanoparticle vaccine technology.

Finally, ONEOK Inc. (NYSE:OKE), ended its last trade with -3.76% loss, and closed at $36.34.

ONEOK declared an offering to sell $500 million of senior notes. The notes will be issued under ONEOK’s existing shelf registration statement formerly filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

ONEOK anticipates to use the net proceeds from this offering and cash on hand to purchase additional common units from ONEOK Partners, L.P. (OKS) in a private placement. Funds managed by Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P. have agreed to purchase $100 million of common units from ONEOK Partners concurrently with ONEOK’s purchase. Following the common units purchases, ONEOK, which is the sole general partner of ONEOK Partners, will enhance its ownership percentage to 41.2 percent from 36.8 percent.

The sole book-running manager for the offering is Citigroup.

ONEOK, Inc., through its general partner interests in ONEOK Partners, L.P., engages in the gathering, processing, storage, and transportation of natural gas in the United States.
