During Friday’s Afternoon trade, Shares of Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK), lost -1.47% to $11.70, afternoon as crude oil prices were down.

WTI crude oil for July delivery was down 1.9% to $59.30 a barrel early Friday afternoon, and Brent crude oil for August delivery was down 2.4% to $62.70 a barrel.

Oil prices were falling Friday due to U.S. shale oil output forecasts, according to Reuters. U.S. shale producers expect their output to rise through the rest of the year, despite recent scale backs in response to lower oil price

“Oil markets are not pricing much in terms of Greek risk but most of the European oil demand growth this year is coming from the southern countries,” said Olivier Jakob of Petromatrix in Zug, Switzerland. Reuters

“Therefore, if there was a Greek default and a contagion of a risk premium to other southern European countries, it could have a negative impact on European oil demand.”

Profit-taking in oil products also weighed on crude, said Donald Morton, who runs an energy-trading desk at Herbert J. Sims & Co in Fairfield, Connecticut.

“The gasoline crack is still very high,” Morton said, referring to the profit margin refiners obtain for “cracking” the motor fuel out of crude.

The stock volatility for the week is 3.77%, while for the month remained 3.15%. The company holds consensus target price of $15.42.

GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the aviation leasing and financing arm of GE (NYSE:GE), declared the launch of its 737-800NG passenger-to-freighter conversion program.

GECAS plans to convert up to 20 of its Boeing 737-800NG passenger aircraft to freighters. AEI Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. will perform the conversions at its facilities in the U.S. and China. The first aircraft is planned for conversion starting in 2016 in order to earn FAA supplemental type certification (STC) in 2017 and subsequently enter service as a leased freighter.

“GECAS is happy to launch its first 737-800 passenger-to-freighter conversion program,” said Christopher Damianos, Executive Vice President Specialty Markets at GECAS. “We believe the 737-800NG freighter will be the best-in-class aircraft for both replacement and growth in the narrow body freighter sector.”
