Trader’s Buzzers: Tegna Inc (NYSE:TGNA), Cimarex Energy Co (NYSE:XEC), United Parcel Service, Inc. (NYSE:UPS), AstraZeneca plc (ADR) (NYSE:AZN)

On Monday, Shares of Tegna Inc (NYSE:TGNA), lost -0.86% to $22.97.

TEGNA Inc., named Tom Cury president and general manager of KENS in San Antonio, TX. Cury comes to KENS after serving as director of sales at TEGNA’s WFAA in Dallas, TX since 2011.

“Tom’s leadership has been extremely effective at WFAA,” said Lynn Beall, executive vice president, TEGNA Media. “Tom’s experience, innovative approach and creative thinking will translate well to KENS and continue to drive KENS forward as the multiplatform heartbeat of San Antonio.”

In his role at KENS, Cury will oversee all station operating functions and also assist leverage TEGNA’s growing statewide presence to the benefit of audiences, advertisers and other stakeholders.

TEGNA Inc. engages in media and digital businesses in the United States. The company operates 46 television stations that produce local programming, such as news, sports, and entertainment; and associated online sites.

Shares of Cimarex Energy Co (NYSE:XEC), declined -1.81% to $104.04, during its last trading session.

Cimarex Energy Co., declared that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.16 per share. The dividend is payable on December 1, 2015, to stockholders of record on November 13, 2015.

Cimarex Energy Co. operates as an independent oil and gas exploration and production company primarily in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. The company owns interests in 3,240 net productive oil and gas wells.

At the end of Monday’s trade, Shares of United Parcel Service, Inc. (NYSE:UPS), lost -0.17% to $97.01.

The UPS Foundation, the philanthropic arm of UPS(R) (UPS) is working with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the World Food Programme (WFP) to provide critical relief shipments to thousands of refugees in Greece and along the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia border. Air shipments of 163 metric tons of relief supplies, counting 86 tons of high-energy biscuits, 30,000 blankets, 25,000 sleeping mats and 1,000 solar lanterns arrived on Sept. 5. The flights were funded by The UPS Foundation as part of its UPS Humanitarian Relief and Resilience program.

This latest emergency relief shipment is part of The UPS Foundation’s long-standing relationship with the UNHCR, WFP, other UN agencies and non-governmental organizations. UPS serves as UNHCR’s emergency standby partner to transport critical supplies into the hands of refugees around the world.

United Parcel Service, Inc., a package delivery company, provides transportation, logistics, and financial services in the United States and internationally. It operates in three segments: U.S. Domestic Package, International Package, and Supply Chain & Freight.

Finally, AstraZeneca plc (ADR) (NYSE:AZN), ended its last trade with -0.36% loss, and closed at $33.18.

AstraZeneca, added to its biologics manufacturing capability in the US with the purchase of a high-tech biologics bulk manufacturing facility from Amgen Inc. Over time, the LakeCentre facility, located in Boulder, Colorado will improvement manufacturing and production capacity to support the company’s extensive portfolio of biologics medicines.

AstraZeneca plans to start staffing the facility right away to support refurbishment and infrastructure improvements. Once complete, the site is predictable to be operational and licensed for commercial production by late 2017, providing for additional capacity within the company’s biologics operations.

In the longer- term, this site could create up to 400 highly skilled jobs, subject to relevant approvals by the local authorities. The facility will eventually double the biologics manufacturing capacity in the US to meet the needs of the maturing AstraZeneca pipeline. Presently biologics make up 50 percent of the company’s pipeline with more than 120 ongoing programmes, counting over 30 in clinical development.
