Trader’s Round Up: Ampio Pharmaceuticals Inc (NYSEMKT:AMPE), Tyson Foods, Inc. (NYSE:TSN), Stem Cells Inc (NASDAQ:STEM), Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE:MMC)

On Thursday, Shares of Ampio Pharmaceuticals Inc (NYSEMKT:AMPE), gained 18.72% to $2.41.

Ampio Pharmaceuticals, Inc., declared positive results of the OptimEyes trial for DME. The OptimEyes trial was a multiple site, randomized, placebo controlled, parallel, double masked study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of two doses of oral Optina (adjusted to body mass index-BMI) in adult patients with Diabetic Macular Edema (DME).

The OptimEyes trial, with FDA guidance, was designed to comprise a wide variety of DME patients, some of whom had no therapeutic options and were progressing to blindness. Intraocular injections may have been contraindicated in these patients. Counting patients not accepted in other trials of intraocular injections allowed us to better understand the effect of oral Optina in improving visual acuity (measured as best corrected visual acuity-BCVA, eye chart) and reducing edema (as measured by optical coherence tomography-OCT) in all patients.

Shares of Tyson Foods, Inc. (NYSE:TSN), inclined 0.16% to $43.49, during its last trading session.

Executives from Tyson Foods, told investors at the BMO Farm to Market conference that the company is plannedally diversified because it combines branded consumer products, commodity protein production and prepared foods and value-added chicken for the food service industry.

“Our aim is to deliver top-tier performance in the food industry,” said Andy Callahan, president of retail packaged brands. “We have an advantaged portfolio with a preferred position to grow ahead of the competition. Our brand building model has a proven track record of growth, and our new product pipeline is robust.”

Tyson Foods, Inc., together with its auxiliaries, produces, distributes, and markets chicken, beef, pork, prepared foods, and related allied products worldwide. The company breeds and raises chickens; and processes live chickens into fresh, frozen, and value-added chicken products.

At the end of Thursday’s trade, Shares of Stem Cells Inc (NASDAQ:STEM), gained 1.34% to $0.6131.

StemCells, Inc., declared that administration will make a presentation on the Company’s programs, pipeline and operations at the 2015 Marcum MicroCap Conference. Administration is planned to speak at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Thursday, May 28, at The Grand Hyatt New York Hotel, in the Imperial room, located at 109 E 42nd Street in New York City.

StemCells, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, researches, develops, and commercializes cell-based therapeutics and related technologies for stem cell-based research and drug discovery and development.

Finally, Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE:MMC), ended its last trade with -0.03% gained, and closed at $59.10.

Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (MMC) held its annual meeting of shareholders at which the Company declared that its Board of Directors voted to enhance both the Company’s quarterly cash dividend and share repurchase program.

The Board of Directors raised the quarterly cash dividend by 11% from $.28 to $.31 per share on outstanding common stock. The dividend is payable on August 14, 2015 to shareholders of record on July 10, 2015.
