Schlumberger Limited, plans to relocate its national headquarters to Sugar Land and expand its existing campus there, according to Business Journals.
The Sugar Land City Council will vote on two requests at its Oct. 6 meeting to approve an economic development performance agreement between the Sugar Land Development Corp. and Schlumberger and to approve a tax abatement agreement between the city of Sugar Land and Schlumberger. The requests were first stated by Community Impact.
According to the city’s documents, the relocation is part of Schlumberger’s “long-term resource administration and consolidation strategy.”
Schlumberger’s existing 32.48-acre Sugar Land campus is northeast of the intersection of U.S. Highway 90A and Gillingham Lane and west of Industrial Boulevard. It is home to Schlumberger Technology Corp., at 300 Schlumberger Drive. Business Journals Reports
