Comcast Corporation, declared the results of its 2015 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, which was held on May 21’s Morning at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia.

  • Election of Directors: Shareholders elected all nominees to Comcast’s Board of Directors for one-year terms. Comcast’s Board has 12 directors, nine of whom are independent.
  • Ratification of the Appointment of our Independent Auditors: Shareholders ratified the appointment of Deloitte & Touche LLP to serve as independent auditors for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2015.
  • Approval of our 2006 Cash Bonus Plan: Shareholders approved this proposal, which provides performance-based cash incentive compensation.

Comcast Corporation operates as a media and technology company worldwide. It operates through Cable Communications, Cable Networks, Broadcast Television, Filmed Entertainment, and Theme Parks segments. The Cable Communications segment offers video, high-speed Internet, and voice services to residential and business customers under the XFINITY brand name.

Shares of U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB), declined -0.66% to $43.57, during its last trading session.

Elavon, a leading global payments provider and partner of U.S. Bancorp declared the promotion of Wally Mlynarski to senior vice president of global product and innovation. He will be responsible for overseeing the company’s global, cross-functional product development teams and for driving the rollout of innovative and industry-leading initiatives, counting mobile payment solutions, EMV migration and security solutions, to assist customers grow their businesses. Mlynarski will report to Brian Mahony, Elavon’s chief strategy officer.

Preceding to his new role, Mlynarski served as vice president of Elavon’s “The Grove” global innovation center, which launched in 2013 to harvest customer-centered innovation in payments and establish key partnerships with third party innovators. His responsibilities comprised of leading product development, architecture, quality assurance and user experience teams to develop omni-channel products for businesses of all sizes in the U.S. and Europe.

U.S. Bancorp, a financial services holding company, provides a range of financial services in the United States. It offers depository services, which comprise checking accounts, savings accounts, and time certificate contracts; and lending services, such as traditional credit products, in addition to credit card services, leasing, financing and import/export trade, asset-backed lending, agricultural finance, and other products.

Finally, Noble Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NBL), ended its last trade at $43.80.

Oil prices have fallen over supply concerns following escalating geopolitical disturbance in the Middle East.

July Brent crude fell 25 cents at $66.29 a barrel and the US crude for July dipped 27 cents at $60.45 a barrel, Reuters stated.

Noble Energy, Inc., an independent energy company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and production of crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids worldwide.
