Why Twitter, Inc. (NYSE:TWTR) Most Active Today ?

During Wednesday’s Morning trade, Shares of Twitter, Inc. (NYSE:TWTR), lost -0.10% to $29.05.

The company holds the book value per share of 6.45, whereas cash per share is 5.26. Price to book ratio remained 4.51, while price to sale ratio is 11.05. Analysts mean recommendation for the stock is said to be 2.40 (where 1=Buy, 5=sale).

Twitter Inc said it designated former Google executive Omid Kordestani as its executive chairman, according to Reuters.

Twitter’s shares were up 1 percent to $29.36 in early trading after the company’s newly designated chief executive, Jack Dorsey, tweeted the appointment.

Twitter had said it would look elsewhere for a chairman, seeking to allay concerns about co-founder Dorsey’s dual role as head of the mobile payments company Square Inc.

Kordestani will no longer be associated with Google, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters.

After 10 years of executive positions at Google, he became a senior adviser at the company in August to assist it through leadership and structural changes as it rebranded itself as Alphabet Inc. Reuters Reports

Google did not right away respond to requests for comment.
