Worth Watching Stocks: Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI), SeaDrill Limited (NYSE:SDRL), Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE:JNPR)

On Tuesday, Shares of Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI), gained 1.85% to $3.85.

Sirius XM Holdings declared that International Tennis Hall of Famer Jimmy Connors, a five-time US Open Men’s Singles Champion and one of the greatest to ever play the game, will host a series of US Open specials airing on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio, channel 82.

Connors will broadcast live from the SiriusXM studios in Manhattan alongside Christopher “Mad Dog” Russo on Tuesday, September 8 (5:00 pm ET) and on Thursday, September 10 (4:00 pm ET). On Saturday, September 12, Connors and SiriusXM’s Dan Graca will broadcast live (9:00 am to noon ET) from the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY, where they will preview that day’s Women’s Singles Final and Men’s Doubles Final, in addition to the next day’s Men’s Singles Final.

Connors will offer an unparalleled perspective on the US Open, where he won five of his eight Grand Slam Singles Championships, in addition to a Men’s Doubles title in 1975. He is also the only player to win the US Open on three different surfaces.

Sirius XM Holdings Inc., through its auxiliaries, provides satellite radio services in the United States. The company broadcasts music plus sports, entertainment, comedy, talk, news, traffic, and weather programs, counting various music genres ranging from rock, pop and hip-hop to country, dance, jazz, Latin, and classical; live play-by-play sports from principal leagues and colleges; multitude of talk and entertainment channels for various audiences; national, international, and financial news; and local traffic reports for 22 metropolitan markets.

Shares of SeaDrill Limited (NYSE:SDRL), inclined 1.41% to $7.20, during its last trading session, as oil prices were mixed Tuesday after the latest Chinese trade data showed lacklustre demand in the world’s top energy consumer.

US benchmark West Texas Intermediate for delivery in October fell 69 cents to $45.36 a barrel, with the contract affected also by low-volume trading Monday due to a public holiday in the US.

Brent North Sea crude for October jumped $1.14 to $48.82 a barrel in London deals.

Seadrill Limited, an offshore drilling contractor, provides offshore drilling services to the oil and gas industry worldwide. The company operates through Floaters and Jack-up Rigs segments.

Finally, Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE:JNPR), ended its last trade with 1.96% gain, and closed at $25.55.

Juniper Networks, declared the appointment of Brian Martin as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Martin will join Juniper on Oct. 5, 2015 and will serve on the executive leadership team reporting directly to Juniper Networks’ chief executive officer, Rami Rahim.

Martin brings nearly 20 years of corporate legal experience in the technology industry, most recently serving as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at KLA-Tencor Corporation. He also spent 10 years in senior legal positions at Sun Microsystems, Inc.

As general counsel, Martin will be responsible for providing legal guidance to Juniper’s executive leadership team and board of directors. He will also assume responsibility for Juniper’s global legal affairs and will lead the government affairs and environmental health, safety and security functions.

Martin succeeds Mitch Gaynor who, in March, declared his plan to leave his role as general counsel after 11 years with the company. Gaynor will continue to serve through the transition until mid-October.

Juniper Networks, Inc. designs, develops, and sells high-performance network products and services worldwide.
