On Friday, Shares of Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK), gained 0.28% to $7.05.

Nokia Corporation declared a contract to sell its HERE digital mapping and location services business to a consortium of leading automotive companies, comprising AUDI AG, BMW Group and Daimler AG. The transaction values HERE at an enterprise value of EUR 2.8 billion with a normalized level of working capital and is predictable to close in the first quarter of 2016, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Upon closing, Nokia estimates that it will receive net proceeds of slightly above EUR 2.5 billion, as the purchaser would be compensated for certain defined liabilities of HERE presently predictable to be slightly below EUR 300 million as part of the transaction. Nokia anticipates to book a gain on the sale and a related release of cumulative foreign exchange translation differences totaling about EUR 1 billion as a result of the transaction.

In April 2015, Nokia declared a review of planned options for HERE in light of its projected combination with Alcatel-Lucent. The declaration of this sale to the Consortium concludes that planned review process.

Published by Forrester Research, a leading industry analyst firm, the report evaluates nine distributed denial of service (DDoS) services providers that met the selection criteria for breadth, global presence and market relevance.

In the report, Forrester states that CenturyLink scored especially well for its attack response capabilities, in addition to its capabilities to defend against very large amplification attacks. CenturyLink also received the highest score possible for geographies presently served and hybrid implementation.

According to Forrester’s report: “To be a leader in a Forrester Wave, a vendor must have a strong current offering and a strong strategy that will clearly address current and future market needs. These vendors demonstrate effective portals, good client and revenue growth, and a focus on customer service.”

CenturyLink, Inc. provides various communications services to residential, business, governmental, and wholesale customers in the United States. It operates through two segments, Business and Consumer.

Finally, Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (NYSE:POT), ended its last trade with -0.44% gain, and closed at $27.18.

Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan stated second-quarter earnings of $0.50 per share ( $417 million ), bringing the first-half total to $0.94 per share ( $787 million ). Earnings for both the quarter and the first six months trailed 2014’s comparable period amounts of $0.56 per share ( $472 million ) and $0.95 per share ( $812 million ), respectively.

Improved potash and phosphate contributions were offset by weaker nitrogen earnings, resulting in gross margin of $711 million in this year’s second quarter (down 5 percent) and $1.4 billion for the first half (up 5 percent).

Cash from operating activities of $836 million in the second quarter and $1.4 billion for the first half of 2015 surpassed last year’s comparable totals due to favorable changes in non-cash operating working capital. Earnings before finance costs, income taxes and depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of $792 million for the quarter and $1.5 billion for the first six months were below 2014 comparative figures.

Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc., together with its auxiliaries, produces and sells fertilizers and related industrial and feed products worldwide. The company operates in three segments: Potash, Nitrogen, and Phosphate. It mines and produces potash, which is primarily used as fertilizer.
