On Monday, Shares of American Electric Power Company Inc (NYSE:AEP), gained 0.91% to $54.45.

The DuPont board of directors recently declared it has named Edward D. Breen the company’s chair and chief executive officer (CEO), effective right away. Breen has served as interim chair and CEO of DuPont since October 16, 2015, and joined the company’s board in February 2015.

“Ed Breen brings to DuPont an exceptional track record of business leadership and value creation. As a chief executive, he has consistently delivered superior returns through robust growth and portfolio strategies, across a range of industries. As a DuPont board member and interim chair and CEO, Ed has rapidly and actively engaged in advancing the transformation of DuPont,” said Alexander M. Cutler, DuPont’s lead independent director. “The board has concluded he is the right leader for the company. We could not be more happy to appoint an executive of his experience and caliber to lead DuPont through its next stage of growth and achievement.”

Comcast Business, declared a substantial network expansion to the Redmond-Woodinville business district in Washington, bringing a full range of Ethernet services to nearly 100 businesses in the 150th – 170th block of Woodinville/Redmond Road.

Comcast Business invested more than $100,000 to bring fiber and coaxial cable to area businesses that range from construction and manufacturing firms to fitness centers and wineries. These businesses will soon have access to high-performance Ethernet service of up to 10 Gigabits-per-second (Gbps), in addition to the Comcast Business services already available there, counting WiFi, TV and advanced voice services.

“Local organizations depend on a strong network for accessing cloud services, data centers and high-speed Internet in order to service their customers and build their business,” said Woodinville Mayor Bernie Talmas. “Comcast’s investment in this community reinforces our aim of supporting entrepreneurs and growing our local economy. Duke Energy was recognized for its superior customer service to its large commercial, industrial and government business accounts during the Edison Electric Institute’s (EEI) fall National Key Accounts Workshop.

The EEI’s 2015 Awards for Outstanding National Key Accounts Customer Service comprised two categories. Its national key account programs award recognized six companies and the national key account executives category honored six individuals.

The EEI’s national key accounts customers voted on the recipients and Duke Energy won in both award categories.

Duke Energy’s National Accounts team accepted the company’s award, which recognizes Duke Energy’s customer service focus and its energy efficiency programs and strategies.
