Time Warner stated financial results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2015.

Company Results

Revenues raised 8% to $7.3 billion due to growth across all operating divisions. Adjusted Operating Income grew 15% to $1.9 billion due to enhances at Turner and Warner Bros., partially offset by a decline at Home Box Office. Operating Income raised 19% to $1.9 billion. Adjusted Operating Income and Operating Income margins were both 25% in the second quarter of 2015 contrast to 24% and 23%, respectively, in the preceding year quarter.

The Company posted Adjusted Diluted Income per Common Share from Ongoing Operations (“Adjusted EPS”) of $1.25, up 28% from $0.98 for the year-ago quarter. Diluted Income per Common Share from Ongoing Operations was $1.16 contrast to $0.94 in the preceding year quarter.

For the first six months of 2015, both Cash Offered by Operations from Ongoing Operations and Free Cash Flow totaled $1.8 billion. As of June 30, 2015, Net Debt was $20.7 billion, up from $19.9 billion at the end of 2014, due to share repurchases, dividends and investments and acquisitions, partially offset by the generation of Free Cash Flow.

Shares of Williams Companies, Inc. (NYSE:WMB), declined -1.28% to $48.53, during its last trading session, following reports suggesting Energy Transfer Equity (ETE) advanced to the second round of bidding for the oil transportation company, sources told Reuters.

Energy Transfer offered $53.1 billion for an all-stock acquisition of Williams, but the company rejected the deal in favor of an auction.

Other buyers are interested in Williams, but it is not known which ones made it to the second round, Reuters sources said.

The Williams Companies, Inc. operates as an energy infrastructure company primarily in the United States. The company operates in three segments: Williams Partners, Access Midstream, and Williams NGL & Petchem Services.

Finally, Bill Barrett Corp. (NYSE:BBG), ended its last trade with 4.89% gain, and closed at $4.93, hitting its lowest level.

Bill Barrett Corporation reports second quarter of 2015 results, counting these highlights:

  • Sales volumes grew to 1.6 MMBoe, surpassing guidance by 9% due to solid execution of the DJ Basin drilling program
  • Raised DJ Basin production by 76% year-over-year and 8% sequentially
  • Increasing full-year 2015 production guidance to 6.1-6.5 MMBoe, represents 23% growth over 2014 utilizing the mid-point of the guidance range
  • Generated $1.06 per share discretionary cash flow
  • Maintain strong liquidity of $450 million with zero drawn on credit facility and cash and short-term investments of $101 million.
