Active Stocks Investor’s Alert: AT&T, (NYSE:T), The Procter & Gamble Company, (NYSE:PG), Union Pacific Corporation, (NYSE:UNP)

On Monday, Shares of AT&T, Inc. (NYSE:T), gained 1.67% to $34.78.

AT&T is inviting DIRECTV and U-verse customers to take advantage of a new promotion of $500 credit per line for switching to AT&T’s wireless service.

For a limited time, DIRECTV and AT&T U-verse TV customers who switch their wireless lines to AT&T will receive a $300 bill credit for each line they port in when they buy a smartphone on AT&T Next for that line. Plus, customers who also trade in an eligible smartphone will get an additional trade-in credit or promotion card for $200.

As a bonus, these customers can also receive 10,000 Plenti points to use at participating partners if they combine their DIRECTV or U-verse TV and AT&T wireless services on one bill.

AT&T Inc. provides telecommunications services in the United States and internationally. The company operates through two segments, Wireless and Wireline. The Wireless segment offers data and voice services, counting local, long-distance, and network access services, in addition to roaming services to youth, family, professionals, small businesses, government, and business customers.

Shares of The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG), inclined 1.19% to $76.38, during its last trading session.

Procter & Gamble Co. has reduced its global workforce to 110,000, but the Cincinnati-based maker of consumer goods still has about 11,000 local workers, a spokesman said recently, according to American City Business Journals.

P&G (NYSE: PG) revealed its total head count in an annual report filed with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission on Friday.

The local employment number remained stable, said Paul Fox, communications director for the company. However, just two years ago, P&G had stated that the local head count was about 12,000. American City Business Journals Reports

The Procter & Gamble Company, together with its auxiliaries, manufactures and sells branded consumer packaged goods. The company operates through five segments: Beauty; Grooming; Health Care; Fabric Care and Home Care; and Baby, Feminine and Family Care.

Finally, Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE:UNP), ended its last trade with 1.06% gain, and closed at $93.48.
