Facebook is rolling out a new tool for journalists that it hopes will encourage them to find and share news from the network, according to Fortune.

The media industry is used to thinking of Twitter as a journalist’s best friend — after all, many use it to track breaking news, and also to share their work, in the hope that it will be redistributed. But Facebook has been making a concerted effort to break into that cozy relationship, by offering journalists and media outlets a range of tools and services for finding and distributing their content.

The latest is a tool that the social network launched on Thursday called Signal, which is designed to assist media outlets find, filter and embed content from Facebook and Instagram (the photo-sharing network that is owned by Facebook) for news purposes. Fortune Reports

Twitter also has a tool aimed specifically at journalists called Curator, which is similar to Signal. And embedding tweets is such an easy thing to do that some news stories comprise of a few sentences of text and then a bunch of tweets from famous users or news-makers. Facebook is clearly hoping that its new tool will encourage more journalists to use its network in the same way, which in turn would boost engagement. Fortune added.

Its latest closing price has a distance of -64.85% from SMA50 and is -87.32% down than SMA200.

Aeterna Zentaris Inc., a specialty biopharmaceutical company, engages in developing and commercializing novel treatments in oncology, endocrinology, and women’s health. The company’s product pipeline comprises MACRILEN, which accomplished the Phase 2 trial for use in the diagnosis of adult growth hormone deficiency; and zoptarelin doxorubicin, which is in Phase 3 clinical study zoptarelin doxorubicin in endometrial cancer (ZoptEC) of the compound in women with advanced, recurrent, or metastatic endometrial cancer.

The Procter & Gamble Company the world’s largest consumer-products maker, plans to cut the greenhouse gas emissions produced from its facilities by 30 percent by 2020 to minimize their impact on climate change, according to Bloomberg.

The Cincinnati-based company will focus on energy conservation and renewable-energy use, according to a statement. The move will also assist the maker of Bounty paper towels and Pampers diapers reduce costs and strengthen branding, it said.

P&G is joining the Climate Savers Program sponsored by the World Wildlife Fund, which enables companies to cooperate on addressing climate change. Sony Corp., Coca-Cola Co., and Johnson & Johnson are among members of the program.

Executives from 13 major U.S. corporations, counting Apple Inc. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc., in July pledged at least $140 billion in new investments to decrease their carbon footprints as part of a White House initiative to recruit private commitments ahead of a United Nations climate-change summit later this year in Paris.
