On Monday, Shares of Frontier Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:FTR), gained 1.63% to $4.98.

Frontier Communications, plans to release second-quarter 2015 results on Monday, August 3, 2015 before the market opens, and to host a conference call that morning at 8:30 A.M. Eastern Time. The conference call will be webcast and may be accessed in the Webcasts & Presentations section of Frontier’s Investor Relations website at www.frontier.com/ir.

Frontier Communications Corporation, a communications company, provides regulated and unregulated voice, data, and video services to residential, business, and wholesale customers in the United States.

Shares of Medtronic plc (NYSE:MDT), inclined 1.08% to $75.17, during its last trading session.

Medtronic, declared it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire RF Surgical Systems, Inc., a medical device company based in Carlsbad, Calif., focused on the detection and prevention of retained surgical items (sponge, gauze or towel) for about $235 million. Additional terms of the acquisition were not revealed.

Despite rigorous surgical sponge counting protocols and medical society-driven awareness efforts, occasionally surgical items are left inside patients after wound closure. A sponge, gauze or towel left inside a patient may require additional x-rays and corrective surgical procedures to remove the retained surgical items. Left untreated, retained surgical items could cause serious and life-threatening issues such as intra-abdominal abscess, intestinal fistula or obstruction, perforated colon, hemorrhaging or infection.

The RF Surgical system is designed to be used as an adjunct to manual counting methods to assist prevent such surgical sponge-related “never events,” which are serious, largely preventable, and harmful clinical events. The proprietary detection system uses a low radio frequency (RF) signal to track and detect surgical gauze, sponges and towels (embedded with a RF tag) through blood, dense tissue and bone. The technology aims to reduce patient complications due to surgery, lessen unnecessary procedures, and enhance efficiencies within the operating room.

Medtronic plc manufactures and sells device-based medical therapies worldwide. The company’s Cardiac and Vascular Group segment offers pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, implantable cardiac resynchronization therapy devices, AF products, diagnostics and monitoring devices, and remote monitoring and patient-centered software.

Finally, Box, Inc. (NYSE:BOX), ended its last trade with 1.44% gain, and closed at $16.95, hitting its lowest level.
