Medivation, declared that it has effected a stock dividend on its common stock, in which each outstanding share of common stock received an additional share of common stock.

Medivation’s common stock will start trading on a post-dividend basis on the NASDAQ Global Select Market at the opening of trading recently, September 16, 2015.

Medivation, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, focuses on the development and commercialization of novel therapies to treat serious diseases in the United States. It offers XTANDI for the treatment of post-chemotherapy metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) patients.

Finally, St. Jude Medical, Inc. (NYSE:STJ), ended its last trade with -2.79% loss, and closed at $67.31.

St. Jude Medical, declared the European CE Mark approval for the 27mm and 29mm Portico™ Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement System. The approval follows previous approvals of the 23mm and 25mm Portico valves, allowing St. Jude Medical to offer physicians an expanded range of fully repositionable, retrievable TAVR valve sizes. The Portico valve accommodates a patient’s native anatomy with diameters ranging from 19 to 27 mm.
